Summon your courage, unleash your imagination and prepare for an adventure beyond your wildest dreams. Featuring incredible special effects, thrilling martial-arts action and nonstop adventure, Warriors of Virtue is a dazzling film and "excellent family entertainment" (Paul Wunder, WBAI)! The journey begins when young Ryan (Mario Yedidia), a typical teen, is swept into very unusual circumstances. After an innocent dare goes wrong, Ryan is magically transported to Tao, a beautiful fantasy land whose sole lifespring is defended by the brave, kangaroo-like, kung fu-fighting Warriors of Virtue. But the Warriors may have met their match in an evil warlord named Komodo (Angus MacFadyen) who wants Tao's lifespring for his very own. Can the Warriors stop him before Tao is lost forever? Only if Ryan can find the power within himself to put an end to all the evil.

A Timeless Gem
A timeless classic! All one needs is imagination and the willingness to let go of Hollywood expectations. I was disappointed to learn that over $35 million was invested into this highly enjoyable gem, but it only grossed under $4 million at the box office. Sadly, too many people rely on what Hollywood critics think. Sure, there's silliness, over acting, and tons of fluff, but there is also genuine morals, and yes...virtures that are presented for young minds, and even a bit of old ones, not unlike myself! I took my kids to see this film upon it's release in theaters years ago, and I can sit down and enjoy it again with my now grown 'kids' 17 years later! In my eyes, it is as timeless as "The Wizard of Oz". Perhaps one day, this movie will get the attention it deserves. My thanks to the Brothers Law.

Classic 90's Gung-Fu Fantasy
Grew up with this movie in the VHS era.Once I found it on DVD I was sold.Graphics and acting might not be up to par with current Movie/TV, but the wonder, imagination and "virtues" are still there.I would like to think this is a classic in the fantasy world genre.DVD itself was shipped fast. Arrived with no damage and still factory sealed.

Furries, look no more, you have found it
This movie is great. I grew up liking it, and still think it's amazingly original in acting and in style. There were a couple bad scenes, and some unnecessary history plot for the characters, but it was all worth it. The kangaroo suits are freaking amazing. Komoda is a badass lunatic, the actor I think is dead now though... BUT, he made the movie intense, and the kangaroos were wonderful. (Kinda hot for just a suit too, they were that realistic, like, I don't even understand it, the eyes are the actors but look totally natural. The tails, well they didn't always look real, but they did for the most part.I only wish I could find the suits online someplace. I'd love to get all nastalgic and see a "Movie studio wears and advertises old kangaroo suits collecting dust in storage for fun".

Unique
That's the best word to describe it. You can tell its quality by my rating, but I promise it's worth at least one watch, especially if you grew up in the 90's. You may rate it higher or lower and still be correct.

Poor man's Ninja Turtles
Hey there! Have you ever been watching the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies and found yourself thinking, "Hey, this movie isn't bad but I want to see something with a creepier group of anthropomorphic animals doing kung fu"? Then look no further! The Warriors of Virtue is here to answer the call.I saw this movie as a kid and something reminded me of it as an adult and I went on a crusade to find this movie. If you are looking to scratch that early 90's nostalgic itch then you will understand why I gave this flick 5 stars!

Nostalgia
I grew up watching this ridiculous movie with my cousin, so naturally I wanted to have it on DVD as an adult. :p It's just a fun, action-packed children's movie with a deecnt message. The acting isn't great, of course, but I will always love it. I will say, if you're seriously considering this, there are some fairly scary moments, so maybe not good for the young, young ones.

A very average movie and DVD.
Thankfully there is no need to have watched the first movie to get into this sequel. The actual movie is a bit average to put it mildly. OK to watch something you don't have to think about too much, with almost dream-like sets and fight scenes. The DVD has a few extras, but not a lot. There are some outtakes, which don't really amount to much. Some behind the scenes footage of the stunts and wire work, which are a little boring and then the trailer for the movie.I bought this DVD mainly to see the late Kevin Smith(as Dogon) as he tragically died after completing the filming of this movie. For all Kevin Smith(Xena/Hercules) fans, there is a touching dedication to him at the end of the movie.Unfortunately both the movie and the DVD don't really inspire the viewer.
