Recommended enamel protector
Easily one of the best enamel protective and restorative products I have used. I am not a dentist, but I do have advanced science degrees (I do my research) and this stuff works.Recommended by a dentist due to my citrus eating, soda use and overall deteriorating enamel levels it takes about 7-10 days to notice a change in enamel via tooth sensitivity. However, the clean, crisp and strong mint condition this leaves your mouth after brushing is evident in seconds. It’s strong, but it is clean and it works.I am on my 3rd tube and forsee a long enamel-filled life with continuous use of enamelon. They also have a gel, but I haven’t used it as much and it’s not minty fresh like this toothpaste.Highly recommend

Recommended by my Hygienist
I was referred to this product by my dental hygienist, and within 6 months I saw less staining so i'm happy and so is my dental hygienist. The product from what I've seen only comes in one size so you have to check this in when you travel and it's expensive compared to other toothpastes in the market but since it works, you can't really put a price to a quality smile. I recommend using this product after you brush your teeth with your regular toothpaste.

This can save you thousands in dental work
This was recommended by my dentist and has helped me a great deal. It remineralizes teeth and soft spots in your teeth according to her. I did not necessarily know what to expect but have used it for years now and clean bills of health from the dentist since I began using this. Taste is meh but it does what it needs to do.

Enamelon will help save your teeth.
Notice I didn't say it will definitely save your teeth. For example, you could have small cavities that are beyond repair. Or, you could eat sugar and go to bed without brushing at night or not spend enough time brushing. But, if you're serious about saving your teeth and avoiding huge dental bills I highly recommend both Enamelon toothpaste and Enamelon treatment gel. (No I am not paid to write any of this.) I started using Enamelon after I lost three teeth and was told I needed a full mouth rehab. The price shock was enough to drastically change my dental habits. That was over six years ago. I haven't had a single cavity since then and my hygienist no longer finds plaque on my teeth during cleaning visits. That's a big deal since my dentist thought I would need several root canals. Of course, that's not entirely due to Enamelon as I never miss brushing my teeth and drink lots of water. And, I use xylitol mints between meals. Additionally, I use Crest Pro Active Defense Mouthwash X2 daily. Hope the above helps.

Terrible aftertaste, and more...
I used to buy this toothpaste back in the mid-90’s for ~ $3.00 when you could find it at Walgreens (or CVS... or wherever I bought my toothpaste back then). I probably used it for about a year before they took it off the shelf, which was disappointing because I really liked the toothpaste and thought it worked well in repairing my enamel.FF to now and I am in need of an enamel repairing toothpaste so I went looking for Enamelon on the web. I was very excited to find it - less so to see it now costs $15.99 for 1 tube. That is outrageous considering what it used to sell for. But since I know it works, and figure I’ll only need one tube, I bought it anyway. I don’t know everything they changed about the formula, but it tastes terrible. Not the mint flavor, but something in it gives me the WORST aftertaste. It makes water taste like metallic lemon juice (the best way I can describe it). I have to brush my tongue with another toothpaste when I am done to try and alleviate the taste. Per their FAQ: “The mint flavors are enhanced with Spilanthes extract – a natural herb, which encourages salivary flow and heightens flavor... Spilanthes offers a stimulating tingling pleasure sensation while arousing the saliva for a refreshing and revitalizing clean finish.“ LIES! This “tingling” affect is NOT pleasant. And, again, the finish tastes awful. I also agree with another user that it temporarily makes my teeth seem more sensitive.I will be sending back. I can’t say if I recommend or not because I don’t know whether this formulation works, but the old one did. So if your dentist has recommended this toothpaste, it may be worth the negatives.

Recommend this toothpaste
I have been using this for a couple years and it has helped my teeth. It lasts a long time. You don’t need much a little goes a long way.
