I’m really puzzled by these nail strips getting only 4 stars. I’ve used color street nail polish strips that don’t require a uv light for curing for about 3 years and I’ve just grown so tired of them making my nails peel at the tips time and time again no matter what I do after about 6 days. I don’t want to be changing my polish every 5 days. I reluctantly started using these with a tiny uv light and I just knew they wouldn’t work. To my delight they really do work, and they last and last. This picture is after 15 days of wear. The tips haven’t peeled or lifted up in the least. My nails are very thin and even with color street polish strips my nails would bend backward sometimes when doing housework but these strips add so much strength and a really nice thickness to my nails without being overly chunky like with acrylic nails. I really love these and I’m finally done with nail polish strips. I even bought a bigger uv light to help cure the strips. It’s well worth the extra step for the hardness and strength. After 2 weeks the nails haven’t discolored or distorted at all. I work with young kids so I wash my hands many times a day with harsh soap and I use hand cream after every wash. This didn’t hurt the nails at all. The only thing I can say even remotely negative about them is that after about 10 days the end of the stip by the cuticle gets exposed as the nail grows out and it’s not flush to your skin any more. That part has acted like a trap for my hair once in a while in the shower or when I’m pulling my hair into a ponytail. It doesn’t pull my hair out but it’s a reminder that I need to change the nails. Changing them is simple. Make sure to soak them off in nail polish remover and DO NOT peel them off of your nails or it will take a significant amount of your nail with it. These are just amazing and I’ll never go back to the salon for gels or acrylics and I’ll never be a slave to the 6 day polish strip game, and my nails can finally be strong and pretty. I’ve bought a couple more different colors and I’ve even put these on my toes. I just used the ones for your fingers on my toenails and they have lasted 25 days + without any peeling or lifting. I’ve trimmed my toenails with them on and filed the corners and they still look great. If I could give more stars I would. Just make absolute sure you have a uv light or these will not ever harden, and you need to expose the strips to about 1-1.30 min for them to cure completely depending on the wattage of your uv light. I started with the weakest smallest light and used about 3 cycles for each nail. These were truly a game changer and time saver.

My nails get brittle & break off easily when I repeatedly get gel manicure. It became so bad that I had to stop doing my nails to let it grow out (I hated having bare nails). I’ve been seeing Ohora for a while and thought I’d give it a try. I’ve tried the glue on extensions but they kept coming off so easily. I didn’t have high hope. It turned out these are much better than the type you glue on. Mind you, they will occasionally come off but not as easily as the glue on type. Also if you keep them longer than your natural nail, it will chip off more easily because they are not very strong without your natural nails. But I love how these don’t require filing off your natural nails & don’t make my nails brittle. I’m sticking to Ohora from now on. I’ve ordered a bunch of them already & will be ordering more! <Pros> * Easy to apply * They do last ~2 weeks (but a few might come off & you may need to replace them) * Fantastic patterns that can’t be accomplished by regular manicures * They don’t make your natural nails brittle because you don’t need to file them off. * Professional looking nails for a fraction of nail salon cost <Cons> * You have to make sure the edges are securely adhered. Otherwise, hairs get in between when you wash your hair. It’s quite annoying * They will chip if you keep them longer than you natural nails. They require your natural nail backing for strength. * You do need their primer for better adherence. * You end up wasting the ones that don’t fit your nails. You can stretch them slightly if they are a bit narrow. But there are a few that are way too small to even stretch. They just don’t get used.

The only thing I don't like about these gels nail strips is that their pictures on amazon don't show the actual nail strip color very well. Besides that, I love them! They are super convenient, easy to put on my nails, and very long lasting. I can get my manicure done in way less time than using the dip powders that I used to use. Even though I got pretty good with the dip powders, the gel strips end up looking much better and have lasted longer for me Thant 2 weeks. I've removed them to change the color before they came off on their own. I love that they are better for my nails than the dip powders and my nails are growing out stronger under the gel strips. Before trying this brand I bought the brand in the local beauty supply store. This brand is way better because of more consistent quality where the gel strips come out of the box very flexible and easy to shape to the nail. Even if the size is a little smaller than the nail, it's very easy to stretch the gel strip and cover the nail and it's still just as strong after using the UV light. Also this brand is way better because my hair never catches or gets pulled by the edges of the nail because it doesn't have those edges. I've found the positives to be consistent after several orders and recommend these gel strips 100%

I work a lot with my hands with mom life and I also play guitar so I needed something that will last and not break my bank. I had seen ads for these for a long time and I finally caved. I was so fed up with my nails constantly chipping but I wanted to have prettier looking hands. PROS: a great solution for long lasting nails, especially with how busy I am day to day. This package comes with two full sets for basic wear (short nails) or Point wear. And the designs are so beautiful!! Cons: As I said above it does come with two sets for nail length BUT there are limited sizes available and I have to pull from each set different sizes to get a full set on my nails. I have wide nails and it was very limited especially with my thumb nail size. (i have man hands like my dad). Another con was there are 4 designs and this makes it very difficult to have both hands match because of how the nail sizes went. (so each nail will have a different design in weird order) I'm okay with that but this might be a problem for the ladies with OCD or are more specific with design placement. Application takes a little time as you have to make sure you put the right size on and you can't peel the sticker off your nail and try to re-stick it and expect it to stay on your nail. the adhesion is more of a one time stick. I did one nail at a time just to make sure it was done right and would last. I HIGHLY encourage investing in the ohara pro glossy top gel to go over the strips once you've cured and sanded down the strips to your nails. be very careful though, I learned the hard way if any of the top gel touches your skin it will burn you under the UV Light. This set lasted me a week and a half before showing that they were starting to peel up from the nail and removal was super easy at that point. Overall though, I do like this product and I do plan on continuing to purchase this product.

All I can say is wow. These have been the answer for adding a sturdy semi hard barrier over my nails. This product has not only been the only damage free option I’ve found for this purpose but it also is very easy to apply, cost effective and extremely high quality, lasting results. This brand include various sizes and the strips are cushiony and long lasting. Extremely happy with this product!

I wanted to give these a try after seeing them all over social media. I have very thin natural nails that will peel like paper if they catch anything so unfortunately I have to keep my nails short, especially since I am a dog groomer. Acrylics are too thick for me even thoughthey do last and protect my nails from the dremel, and I've tried other options like GelX, but they don't last long at all with how often my hands are in soaps and water. The glitter gradient design is absolutely beautiful, but I am giving this 3 stars due to a disappointing quality control issue. ✂️ The sheets I received today had several strips that were badly cut right through the gel. Unfortunately for me, the damaged ones were the exact medium sizes that would actually fit my natural nails. Because of this defect, I didn't get 2 full sets out of the box like I should have. Instead, I only got one usable set because I had to struggle with the larger sizes and manually cut them down to size and fill gaps with top coat. ☀️💡Curing & Power Warning: 💡 I used a high-powered 36W Modelones 7 lamp (24V/1.5A output). Because this light is so powerful, the strips cured extremely fast in just 45 to 60 seconds, but they caused an intense, painful heat spike on the very first round. I had to pull my hand out immediately because it got so hot. Furthermore, despite all the TikTok videos making these look like they get super hard and completely indestructible after curing, they actually stay surprisingly flexible and pliable. They do not get rock-hard like acrylics or salon extensions, even after curing them 3 full times. ⚠️A warning for anyone with short nails: ⚠️ If your natural nails stop before your fingertips like mine do, these strips leave a sticky overhang on the underside because the medical-grade adhesive layer extends past your nail bed. To fix the sticky underside and add much-needed durability to my thin nails, I had to apply a separate gel top coat over the top and underneath the free edge to properly cap the ends and seal the stickiness away. The application was simple and easy and they shape to your nails much better and easier than vinyl stickers. They look pretty once finished, but expect to do some extra troubleshooting if you get a bad batch, have thin nails, or use a strong UV lamp!

UPDATE: I turned in the review below and still mostly stand by what I said about hard to get these on. However I wanted to mention that these stayed on 8 days so far and still look pretty good. It is hard for me to keep on nails of any kind so I would give these a thumbs up for the price! Previous review below: I bought two different colors of these nail strips. This was my first time to use them. I typically use Color Street brand. These were ok but they were more difficult to get on as they are really thick. The nail file that is in with the nail strips is not great and because they are thick it took me a bit to get them on. I would recommend having your own nail file and it might be easier. For the price I they are ok. I have had them on for 5 days now so that part is good. I don't think I will reorder any of these as it was super frustrating to get them on when I can get Color Street instead. BUT if you are trying to save a buck these would work.

Let me start off by saying I am VERY hard on my nails. Even professionally applied gel or acrylic nails don’t last more than a week. I cut these the same length as my natural nails, and they went on nicely. Looking closely they weren’t perfect, but that was likely more of a user error and with some practice I could make them look better. They started popping off on day 3, but I had been working with some boat cleaning products and didn’t wear gloves, so that probably contributed. I would definitely use these again for a special event, but for me they are too much maintenance for long term use. They would probably work better for someone who is used to having longer nails and is less hard on their hands.

Terrible quality. It is not at all worth the hype. It does not look good either.

Went on a trip for 2 weeks where I was in either in a beach or pool for 1-2hrs at a time and they stayed on the entire time! Didn't lose a single one and none cracked. They weren't hard to apply, and when it came to removing, it was pretty easy too!

Saw a version of these on tiktok. These are pretty, but unfortunately they started to chip, break and split after two days. They also don't lie flat with the nail so my hair constantly got stuck under the edges. Was also frustrated with the instructions on the website. Video said curing times vary with each design but then didn't tell you what that time was!
