"Moleskine Limited Edition Wizard of Oz Notebook, Hard Cover, Large (5"" x 8.25"") Ruled/Lined, Wicked Witch, 240 Pages" (LEWOZQP062WW)

Someone got the brilliant idea to put ‘The Wizard of Oz’ (my favorite movie) onto a Moleskine (my favorite notebook). Try and keep me from rating all four from this Limited Edition release five stars - do you need to see the Wizard about a brain?

I love Moleskine notebooks but I was very disappointed in this one. I'd just finished a Moleskine notebook and decided to order this one as a treat. Lo and behold, the pages in this one are so thin they can't handle a little extra ink. For $30, I expect no ghosting and definitely no bleed through. I wouldn't buy this again.For reference, I used a medium nib with diamine onyx black ink.

Amazing quality journals. Always

Love these for keeping notes on projects in. The wizard of oz cover just sends it over the top.

I decided to buy all 4 of these Oz themed journals in one order because I really couldn't decide which one I liked the most. If you do a lot of writing like me and you're already familiar with this brand name, then you know you're getting an excellent quality product as it is. If you're a huge Wizard of Oz fan or collector, then you definitely need to get these.I like how each journal cover focuses on a specific book chapter and features reproduced artwork by the original illustrator W. W. Denslow. The back cover features a character quote or a line from the book pertaining to each one of those chapters. The overall background colour on each of these journals is a sort of off white colour, almost a very light beige. If you can't tell by looking at Amazon's photos, each journal also has a textured look to them, sort of like burlap. On the inside, the end papers feature more reproduced artwork by W. W. Denslow, including the inside pocket at the back of the book. Inside each pocket you will find a sheet of stickers featuring more reproduced artwork once again by W. W. Denslow. For anyone who may be wondering the sheet of stickers is identical in each journal - not that it really matters to me, but some people might find this slightly disappointing.Despite Amazon listing all four journals as having lined pages, I should point out that only two are lined and the other two are blank. I knew this prior to purchase, so it doesn't come as any surprise to me. I would suggest to any person wanting only the lined journals (or even just the blank journals) to click onto the first photo of each journal and look at the wraparound card on the front of each journal to see which ones are lined and which ones are blank.If I had to make one complaint, which really isn't a complaint at all - it's that they didn't make a journal for each chapter of the book because, to be honest, I probably would have bought every last one.
