This is just as good a the XPole
I did not buy the Xpole because of price. This is just as good a the XPole. I had the items shipped to my jobs,it came in a brown box, but it did have pro-fit on the package. I told my coworker the were car pipes for my husbands car. I bought a stud finder from Lowe's (under $20) a level and measuring tape, and wd40 to spray where the pole meets. The product is easy to set up and take down and the carrying case is great sturdy material. Some of the cons are, this is a new pole so you have to break it in. You tube has some suggestion of sanding, but if i mess up the pole then the only option is to purchase a new one. I bought some "dry hands" and put a few layers on before use and i keep rubbing alcohol between adding dry hands. I did not use the plastic bottom part, I did not like it. I think you should try it first to see if you need it before making that decision. The pole has some weight to it and it is a 55" width. I have a smaller hand so i could have gone smaller but the studio i use has 55" and most competition use that size. I climb and do tricks, I make my husband get on it first to make sure it hold me up. I am short and only about 130 lbs and he is about 190lbs. There is not a lot of reviews on the products but i am happy i purchase the item.

Get it!
I just installed it myself tonight. It was so easy and I love that you have to option to have a spinning pole, I've never had that before. Fun to have both options. Light kit is cute. Great pole, arrived in perfect condition and took about twenty minutes to assemble by myself. Sturdy.. I was swinging upside down in no time

Set it up right and you’ll do great
Make sure to properly mount this! The threading to tightening it can seem finicky but once you get it down it’s smooth sailing. It’s some what of a pain to take apart to reassemble, but it’s a solid stationary piece. Some drunk friends inadvertently loosened it and my GF’s sister went tumbling, but we were able to get it back up and good as new. My GF has saved me so much money from going to the actual clubs. I built a stage and lighting setup too. Not really sure who this was a present for, but worth the money.

Was afraid this was going to be a bad purchase. I was wrong
Was afraid this was going to be a bad purchase. I was wrong. It's actually very sturdy, just make sure you tighten it well enough but also make sure to not over tighten it as if you have drywall for a ceiling and is not properly secured under a beam, it will crack your ceiling. However, it has only ever happened once and it was because of my over tightening it. It's very useful in my work outs, easy to put up and take down. It's really impressive!

Amazing product
I love this pole, it inspired me to take classes and continue with my pole journey. I love that I can adjust the height and it’s easy to take to parities or to friends house. My only problem with this product is that sometimes putting it up can be a hassle and I don’t like how slippery it is. I’ve used several poles now and realized that originally when I tried pole just with this one alone I was sucking hard, but it wasn’t me, it’s just slippery. So I would say this pole is more durable for someone that is advanced because if you’re a beginner and don’t have enough muscle for it it’s just not gonna work out. I use grip solutions but even that doesn’t help. Since I learned pole at studios and got more comfortable with poles overall and built strength it became easier to use this pole… But I still notice that I can’t do certain tricks on this pole that I can do on another.

Love it !!!!
Ok, so I wanted to originally give this pole 4 stars. When I opened it, there were a few small dents in the pole, but not enough to be angry and want a refund. The assembly is super easy, it comes with a guide, but I'm more of a watch and learn type of person, so I found a link on YouTube of someone installing it. Then, my ceiling was too high for the pole, I ended up calling customer service. The guy I spoke to was AWESOME! Super helpful and he emailed me the link for an extender. After securing this pole i LOVE it. It's holds my weight (200) as well as my boyfriend who wanted to make sure it was sturdy (he's 210)The only thing I wish could be changed is how hollow the inside of the pole is. Then it would be perfect. Amazing buy.

Pole needs adjustments too make it more sturdy and safe
My first pole was purchased back in 2016. Once assembled and installed, I was ready too get my pole fitness on. After a few days, I noticed the ceiling base was sliding away from the rubber ring. The adhesive Microfiber Products uses to seal the rubber ring to that top base is not reliable. When that piece begins to slide, it also damages the drywall in the ceiling. I used gorilla glue to reinforce the rubber seal to top ceiling base, and added heavy duty duct tape to the area in the ceiling where I set my pole up. This only ideal if you own your home. If you rent, and do this kind of drywall damage, you will not get your deposit back. But my reinforcement of glueing the rubber ring on with gorilla glue, coupled with duct tape, actually does the trick of making my pole sturdy, and lasts a long time. Also, for those with the mid pole connection problem of scratching. Place a piece of electrical tape around that part.
