🔩 Drill Smart, Not Hard!
The RYOBI Right Angle Drill Attachment features a 90-degree design that allows for drilling and driving in tight spaces. It includes a 3/8 in. shank that fits all drill/drivers of 1/2 in. and larger, making it a versatile addition to any toolkit.

Working well for 3/4" holes through studs for wiring
I have drilled probably 100 or more 3/4" holes through studs on a DIY wiring project in my basement. It is a sturdy tool for home use, and seems well up to the task.

Works great so far, PACKAGING SUCKS.
I needed this for only 1 task where I had to drill and couldn't get access. I'll probably never use it again so I don't know how it will last under heavy use but it appears to be a solid piece engineering. I read reviews on other brands of this item and this one seemed to be the best. Their biggest concern was that other models seemed "cheap" and wore out quickly and this item is none of those things. If you opt for the 1/2" bit over the 3/8", keep in mind that not all drills can chuck a 1/2" without an adapter. GIGANTIC PAIN IN THE BUTT TO "EXTRACT" IT FROM THE PACKAGING! Seriously, that may have been the most difficult packaging I've ever dealt with. The easiest way to get it out is to use a light saber.

Seems to be very well built
This looks and feels like a very well built 90 degree drill adaptor. There is no “play” or looseness in the mechanical system. What I missed in the decision to purchase this unit I’d that it is for a 1/2” drill motor. Luckily I have both a 3/8” & 1/2” drill motor so I am keeping. I have been very happy with all my Ryobi tool and I’m sure this will be no exception.

Works as expected. Seems sturdy.
Ergonomics are very good. I gave four stars only because once I grabbed the wrong part to twist release the drill bit and couldn't get it to release. I spent a minute figuring out that the tool had not broken and to hold lower down. I had tried to twist the grip. Had that grip been a different color, the mistake would not have happened, and the fact that the grip slipped just a bit made me thing the tool had jammed. It is a very minor design flaw, but for a tool that only gets occasional use that confusion should never happen.

Bigger then 3/8 size
Ended up buying another as well because this one is bigger and I had a really tight area to drill, so I bought a 3/8 size from Harbor Freight. Don't get me wrong, this IS a Top Quality Piece, it was just too large for what I needed. The seller shipped real fast and was pleased other than size.

Heavy, solid tool that works well
Just received my Ryobi right angle drill attachment from the Country Butler. They shipped quickly and seem like great people to do business with. As for the Ryobi drill attachment, it seems as solid as a rock. I tried it out and the 3/8’s keyless chuck works smoothly. When attached to my drill the gears in the attachment seem to mesh well. Hopefully I’ll get years of service from it.

Not all 3/8 in. drills are created equal
The RYOBI right-angle drill adapter appeared to be just what I needed, but its hexagonal drive shaft measures 0.440 in. between corners, and the chuck on my SEARS 3/8 in. drill has a circular 0.4. in opening,
