The hat was shipped to me in a box and arrived in perfect condition. The hat is a bargain at this price, but that naturally means that it was made in China, if that matters to you.I have other Trilby hats from Bailey of Hollywood and Henschel. This particular hat fits about a half-size larger than the XL that I normally wear. If you are between sizes, order the smaller one.The hat is flexible, which is nice. You can flip the front edge of the brim up or down depending on your styling preference. On this particular hat, I prefer it flipped down, but I have other Trilbys that look better up. It will also flex to accommodate a head that is a different shape of oval or round (the circumference of your head I mean...) I have a true straw hat that is quite rigid and it either fits the wearer or it won't, if you know what I mean, and the front edge of the brim on that hat is inflexible.The pinches in the front of the hat are less "pinched" than other Trilby hats that I own, not that it matters, just making a note of it. They are also physically smaller. I will probably order a few more of these in other colors.Today was the first day that I've worn this hat and I received three different compliments on it from coworkers. :D

I expected the hat to arrive ready to wear. Instead it was totally crushed. I like the hat’s color and fit. Be prepared to iron and reshape the hat before wearing.

This would be a fine hat-- the fit was perfect for the actor I purchased it for (he has a very large head-- the xxl size was great). Unfortunately, it was packaged in a box with no protection and crammed in with other items. I have a feeling it may have been returned from another customer without the original packing material and they then shipped it to me without extra padding. Without being re-blocked, the hat I was sent, cannot be formed to its original shape.

I ordered two different colors of the same hat. I was definitely surprised by how different they are. They shipped separately, one came totally crumpled and halfway rolled up. The box was totally fine so it was shipped that, almost like someone did everything they could to destroy it before putting it in the box. It's been a few days and the shape still hasn't returned to normal, beginning to doubt it will. The other came perfectly intact. It also seems till to be made of higher quality than the other one and has an awesome little hard shell pad seen into the top that holds the hats shape well. The two are slightly different styles as well. The first being a great trillby style fedora with the rest of the top crown slightly higher than the front, really hoping it recovers from the crushing because it's my favorite style and hard to find to the extent that I'm afraid to return it because the two are so different I'm afraid the replacement wouldn't be quite this style. The second one is more of a Cuban style with both the front and back of the top crown slightly lower than the sides and with the shell pad in the top the crown doesn't flex or deform at all while being worn however it does sit a little higher on my head.

First off, I was NOT happy with the flat box the hat arrived in. Fortunately, it popped backed into shape.Less than 5min after wearing the hat, the compliments started rolling in. What's more, my girlfriend received lots of compliments when she wore it. It fits well, looks good, and is a great headgear alternative to the ballcap!I hate to say it, but I'm considering getting one or two more!

Size 7 (22 inch). Low end of medium so I decided to get the small. I believe another reviewer stated that it ran slightly larger. Glad I did. Fits perfect. Hat seems good quality. Now for downside...shipped in a plastic bag and crushed upon arrival. Had to use water, heat, and clamps to re-form the hat. Looks great now. But why wouldn't they ship it in a box? Don't think this is crushable either, if anyone is wondering...at least not for extended periods.

This hat is great beyond my expectations! It fits wonderfully and comfortable. Crazy part is I was going out to a restaurant with my family and had to park the car. I didn’t know my hat fell out of the car until I was walking with my brother and said is that my hat?!! It was flat as a pancake! I picked it up and after my car and another ran it over. I started shaping the hat and to my surprise it worked it’s way back to normal with a little doodling it back to shape. Great hat!!!!

I love my summer hat. Great quality, sturdy and fashionable. I have been searching for a summer hat but all the ones I’ve seen for the ladies are too small for my round big head. I can wear this and not have a headache. Plus, this hat I can wear with a pony tail and it fits perfect. Happy I bought this expensive hat. My only issue is a design. The rim of the hat 🎩 isn’t enough to block alot of the sun. It should be be extended more. If you fix this design send me one to review. Thanks
