Using passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor and light sensor, the light is not blinding. *Auto Mode Switch to the AUTO position and it goes into motion sensing mode and only turns on in the absence of light when motion is detected. Once it's on, it stays on as long as motion is detected. If no motion is detected for about 20 seconds, it automatically goes off and back into standby mode. *Manual Mode Switch to the ON position to keep on the light and turn off the detection function, could be as emergency light or portable light. Slide the Switch twice to disable the light.
