So much better than Starbucks.
I worked for Starbucks for 2 years and never once saw the espresso machine pull a shot that looks like the shot from this machine. Small but mighty. As long as you have the right grind for your espresso and you tamp with care, your shot from this machine will be smooth, rich, and creamy. My ONLY very small grievance with this product is that the steam wand doesn't rotate up and down but for this price I honestly thought I was going to return it. The wand does rotate side to side so I think after a while I will get used to it. If you're looking to save money but need your morning latte like me, you will not regret this purchase.

Really good quality

Blown away, but not perfect
Amazing. I upgraded from a old Krups steam "espresso" machine that was very finicky to get a half decent pull. This machine.. Fill it with water, press in some coffee, and press a button. Not "heat up" time before operational. It knows what it needs to do when you press a button and it works.I used a weight calibrated coffee press instead of the plastic thing that came with it lol.I timed the double cup espresso pull from the moment the grounds got wet to the end- 20 seconds! And I pressed them down nicely! That's fantastic!!But alas..... CON:The darn thing is covered in plastic. Under the filter where the espresso comes out is plastic. The water container is plastic (common). The boiler is plastic. I'd personally rather a plastic exterior machine with metal interior than vice versa which is what this is.Also I don't care that the steam wand isn't fully articulated, it at least swings side to side! My last machine's didn't do that. But perhaps you will care.So this thing is close to 5 stars but I cannot overlook all the plastic. Like dudes for real, how much more would aluminum have cost?

Makes Great Espresso
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I love drinking lattes but I hate spending a fortune and a bunch of time at coffee shops. My husband likes espresso. Buying an espresso machine makes sense but they’re expensive. Then I spotted this one and we are so happy with it. It is very easy to use and gives a one shot or two shot option. It comes with a plastic tamp. I use almond milk, which doesn’t foam up like normal milk but it’s close enough and I got foam using this machine’s steamer. Definitely recommended.

It delivers very acceptable espresso
It is a solid, thin-profile stainless skin nice looking machine. The pressure gauge is functional but purely ancillary. If the pressure fails on this you won't need a gauge to tell you.It delivers satisfactory espresso with a nice crema every morning. I have made it with fresh ground oily beans and pre ground espresso from a can (Bustelo --don't laugh, try it). This machine is replacing my Hamilton Beach pump espresso machine and this one actually leaves the espresso grounds in the cup damp. All other electric pump espresso makers I have owned left liquid on the grounds. So this unit /is/ demonstrably more powerful. It has been working perfectly once a day for two weeks. The truth is if you want really real high pressure machine espresso you are going to have to drop $400. And one day I know that is what I will do.In the mean time this machine gets a really good rating from me for what it does. And, yes, the gauge is cool.

Pretends to be a much better machine than it is
With a prominent pressure gauge, you'd be easily fooled into thinking this is good home machine without many automatic controls but plenty of manual control. You'd be wrong. There's no way to change the pressure; all you can do is draw shots and use the steam wand.Worse, the shots you get are foamy - the funnel has a built-in aerator! In addition, the heating element seems terribly underpowered - neither the steam nor the espresso was hot, and the warming tray never got appreciably above room temperature.Performs like a $50 machine.

Blown away by the quality this little thing puts out!
I had very low expectations for this machine given it's low price point but WOW was I surprised!Used in conjunction with an inexpensive burr grindr from Altra and a heavy metal tamper, I get a very respectable double shot of delicious espresso every morning.I don't use the milk wand only because I don't want to bother with keeping it clean and this works fine for me as I prefer to drink my coffee iced anyway.Do know that you'll need Urnex or a similar product and cleaning involves cycling a couple liters of Urnex infused water through the system every so often to keep the pipes clean and everything functioning properly. This is the reason for my four stars under "Easy to clean."If you're on the fence and don't want to spend a couple hundred dollars on a different machine, look no further!

Great machine, delicious espresso
I have had this for a week and I love it. It's easy to use right out of the box. Simple instructions that came along with it. It makes delicious, smooth shots of espresso. I have had cheap $40 espresso machines and $250 machines in the past. This is so far my favorite. It doesn't take long to heat up. All I have to do is load it with grounds and hit a button. I like that it automatically shuts off when the proper amount of espresso has been brewed so I dont have to sit there an monitor it. It also has an automatic shut off for the machine if I forget to turn it off before I leave for work. I have not tried the milk steamer yet. So far I think this machine is a great value for the money!

Neat little machine
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. It doesn't take up much space in my kitchen, which is always great when you live in a small apartment. The stainless steel matches my other kitchen appliances perfectly. It has a sleek look while also keeping the design simple and to the point, making it easy to use. first i filled up the back container with water. Then i used the coffee press to press down my grinded beans. And finally, pick between a single or double shot, i always take a double. It takes about a total of 2 minutes so finish making the expresso. It does make a bit of sound but what machine doesnt. Afterwards you can use the milk frother. I dont really use it as i like my drinks black. Ive tried it a few times so i can offer it to guests once the lockdowns end and it took a couple of seconds to finish frothing. One thing i want to mention is the cup warmer on top of the machine. I had no idea that's what it was for at first, now i use it all the time.

Great espresso machine
I was skeptical about this espresso machine because of the low price. My previous machine was worth $450 but the frother broke after 6 years of use. I decided to go with the brewsly based on the positive reviews and I'm glad I did. This is far better than my previous $450 machine. It brews the perfect amount of water for one or two shots automatically and the temperature is very hot. On my old machine I had to microwave the espresso after and it tasted very bitter. I'm using the same coffee on the brewsley but my espresso tastes more like dark chocolate now without any bitterness. The steam wand is very effective and heats/froths the milk very quickly. The machine is very easy to use and the build quality is excellent. Overall I'm extremely happy with this purchase.

Excellent Little Machine For The Price
After I went through committing all the dumb novice's mistakes you could imagine, I finally managed to brew an excellent cup of espresso coffee. If you do not have one, I would recommend buying a 51 mm metal tamper. The plastic tamper supplied with the machine in not a good one. You should also look into a knock box for your spent coffee pucks and a 51 mm funnel which will save you a lot of mess and wasted coffee. Also a small gram scale is a useful item. All these supplies are available on Amazon. Also available on Amazon are steel, conical-burr manual coffee mills that are best for grinding coffee for espresso. You should carefully read the user manual even though it is a badly translated version of the original Chinese language manual. Example: Under the "Trouble Removal" section there are instructions on what to do if there is not enough "grease" in you coffee.Things to note are: 1) The filters hold 7 grams of coffee for a single shot and 14 grams of coffee for a double shot when tamped. You really need a funnel to fill the filter properly or you are going to end up with a lot of mess. This is less than the recommended amounts of coffee suggested on most sites but you have to take into consideration the size of the machine and also that the technology behind them has improved since these standards were set so you still get a pretty potent cup of espresso with much less coffee, 2) The piece of metal tubing goes over milk frothing nozzle and finally, 3) The decal on the side of the machine on how to set the brewing/steaming knob is in conflict with the manual. The manual shows you the correct positions.I may have a ways to go before I can call myself a true barista but, overall, I'm pleased with my purchase.

Cheap, But Mostly In A Good Way
My third espresso maker. First I had a Rancilio Silvia (died after 4 years--but the Rancilio grinder still goes like a tank). Then there was the Breville Infuser (which died after 5 years). So, now, the Brewsley. It's cheap: 1/3 to 1/4 the price of the other machines. I'd say it's more plastic than steel. The porta-filter holder, especially, seems chintzy. I'm not sure the pressure gauge is all that useful, as it shows appropriate pressure levels even without espresso in the basket. But it's simple to use. It heats up fast. And the coffee is actually good--as good as my other machines?! I still haven't figured out how to get perfect latte art, milk-foam with it, like I could do reasonably with the other machines, but I'll keep trying.All-in-all, I'm quite happy with the Brewsly machine and, if it keeps running, I'd say it's excellent value for its price.

Space saving mini expresso machine
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. We have been using the k cup machine for more than 5 years. My hubby really want an expresso machine, so I got him one as a Christmas gift. The price was good and within my budget. It's it narrow and great for our small counter top. It is an entry level machine, but it comes with everything. It's easy to operate and easy to clean. The expresso it makes is so tasty that it cannot compare with regular coffee mahchine. The milk steamer make nice foam too. Hubby loves his new toy.
