Master Keaton, Vol. 4 (4)

Another great installment of an amazing series
I have been reading these in order and the writing is always so strong. This is no exception. Because of the episodic nature of this series you could technically pick up beginning here and you might miss a few nuances but overall the writing won’t be hugely impacted. This is just excellent work. Ranking among any of Naoki Urasawa’s other work. I find it sort of similar to Corto Maltese but taking place 60 years later and with a little more Japanese influence. But this stuff is super worldly. Political and historical. I learn something when I read these.

Master Keaton is a "master" series!!!
I have the first three volumes of the series. Great stories for folks who have outgrown the super hero genre. Great stories, pacing and story telling. The artwork is awesome, just like his "Pluto" series. I look forward to collecting all the books.

Four Stars
After first reading 20th Century Boys and Monster I wasn't sure what to expect. It's decent.

Happy
Nice comic that combines detective work and adventure. Condition as promised, no complaints.

Urasawa early work is just as good as his later ones
Urasawa early work is just as good as his later ones. What a masterpiece this series are. The story about the pied piper and the gypsy in Germany are the kind of things lingering in your head long after you put the book down.
