Love the pirat ! The first one did not last an hour (air leak at the seams I think), I returned it and the second one is still up and standing after two weeks of abuse. The kids poke a whole in one arm, which was quickly and effectively repaired with Gorilla clear repair tape Gorilla Clear Repair. The pirat is beaten, thrown upside down, ridden on... and always comes back up, which delights the kids. We filled the base with sand. Great buy !

The item I received had an impossible to find slow leak, and would not stay fully inflated more than a few minutes. I'm not sure if it was because of the l lack of air inside, but once it was hit it would just lie down. I is supposed to sand back up so it can be hit again. Fortunately, it was only about $5. I just threw it away and called it a loss. Not worth trying to return or replace.

Got this for my nephew - he loved it, kept trying to knock it down. Great entertainment

Pops open with holes rather quickly. Does not last long. I do not recommend. I've bought two and my daughter popped both in only a few days of punching it. She is a tiny, little girl. Also, very hard to fill the bottom part with water completely.

Shipping was fast, product is decent only thing is once it’s knocked down it doesn’t come back up. But seems to be durable. Been a few days and it hasn’t popped or deflated

Bought this for my 4 year old grandson to fight with his Hulk hands. His father's first comment was "Now maybe you won't hit your sister". Per other reviewers, I filled the base with sand. Bounces back great when hit. I put a couple of pieces of strong packing tape over the plug. I didn't even want the chance of the plug coming out. I can't even imagine the mess the sand would make in the hands of a 4year old, with his 2 year old sister's help. I filled it a couple days before I gave it to him to give it a chance to leak if it was going to deflate on me. No leaks so far. I read that something called Plumbers Goop and (just plain) Goop will patch seams if needed.I like it so much, I bought two of the tigers for my small granddaughters. Great value for the very reasonable price!

So I really wanted to get some kind of punching blow up thing for my kid. There didn't seem to be any good ones on amazon and this seemed the 'least bad' based on the reviews. Unfortunately I should have just given up and not gotten one rather than this one. The water base leaks a little and when you punch it it sometimes doesn't stand itself back up or takes a long time to do so. I have no idea if this really is the 'least bad' option or not, but it's definitely a bad option.

They just wanted to sock a robot, but they are too young for rock em' sock em robots. So my Mom asked that I find them one of those punching bags that go down and come back up. I searched and searched and found this lil guy. He is adorable! Much cuter than the ones that just have pictures of the Hulk or Spidey on there. My mom wasn't too thrilled that the bottom fills with water to make it weighted. They LOVE IT! Great price, great toy.****UPDATE**** after my retarded 36 year old brother punched "Pete" (as we have named him) like he was punching someone in a bar fight "Pete" has deflated sadly. We are looking for a swimming pool patch to fix him up. But for the price my nephews got more than their money's worth out of it!
