There are many similar items with slight variations. Make sure you order exactly the right part. My part worked fine. Not that it has anything to do with the part, be aware that this is not a super easy job to do if you do not have some knowhow,The casting was not very clean at the top, but it did retain the spring clip/latch. The part does not come with these parts. The must be transferred from the old to the new part. This is a little tricky - don't loose the little bitty spring. The little spring can fly away easily if you are not careful.I would buy this part again.
