Very nice screwdrivers
I bought these screwdrivers cuz they are made in the USA. even though I know most techton tools are made in Taiwan or China. I prefer american-made tools cuz I feel they're the best and after them German made. who are probably just as good but usually more expensive. When I got them I was more than surprised at the quality cuz they were still a fair price even being US-made. They're really nice screwdrivers. They are proof positive that you can still make high quality tools in the United States and not have to charge a fortune for them. If tecton starts making more their tools in the United States I will be buying more of them

Overall a good choice
These drivers are a good value for the money, you get a fairly comprehensive set. The sturdiness and ergonomic rating is tough. While I understand the design of the handles, I find them both good and bad. They are designed in a way that allows for a solid and low slip grip on the handle, but at the same time, the handle does not feel comfortable in my hand which I find odd. This is acceptable however since I am not turning screws all day, so the better grip outweighs the comfort. They do provide a good non slip grip, even when oily or greasy. Dropping these in a pan of oil is no problem, the grip is mostly unaffected and the shaft will soak in some oil. Wipe it off with a rag when you are done for an easy cleanup. When I compare these to the old classic Craftsman screwdrivers, they meet somewhat different uses. These drivers provide a better grip making them better for everyday screws. The Craftsman drivers though can take more abuse. I feel comfortable using a hammer with the Craftsman drivers, but would not have the same comfort level with these. In saying that, it is worth noting that use of a hammer with them is improper use as they are not impact drivers. The blades on these Tekton drivers are also not designed to accommodate a wrench for additional torque, either by a squared shaft or with a hex portion where the shaft and handle meet.Another point of interest with these is the black oxide finish. Unlike those with a chrome finish, these will/can develop surface rust if they are let to dry out. These may not be the perfect for for those just wanting screwdrivers in a homeowners tool bag, where the tools are not used very often. If you keep these in a larger tool chest like I do, you are likely already aware of keeping a light film of oil/grease on your tools, so the issue is more a moot point. If I had a say in how to improve these, I would consider the JAWSFIT design that is used on the Vessel 900 series Megadora cross-point tips (NOTE: this design can cause damage to decorative screws). The issue with the normal phillips design is they are prone to cam out and these are no exception. So if the phillips design tip is required, the JAESFIT design would at least help out. Ideally, the phillips head would be replaced with a JIS compatible tip which in my experience grips even regular phillips screws far better than any phillips driver. Although the JIS standard is somewhat obsolete, the specific compatible design I am referring to is the DIN 5260-PH/ISO 8764-1 standard which is compatible with the JIS standard screws. Unfortunately here in the US, the design standard used on screwdrivers is not disclosed to customers.Overall, I am happy with these drivers. They are a solid product and backed by Tekton's warranty which is top notch. It is hard to go wrong with these if you are in the market for general US retail available screwdrivers.

Made Michigan?!?
The handles are solid and do not spin or anything. They look like they would ratchet or spin due to the red and black circular design at the ends, but they don't. These are just nice, normal screwdrivers.I've been using these for over a year and haven't bent or chipped any of them. These are what Sears/Craftsman used to be: a good tool that will last decades for a little more than the junk ones that break.Tekton says they were made in Michigan too! I thought we only assembled cars from foriegn parts. Pleasantly surprised. Not bad, make these your calmly working set and grab all your old screwdrivers and use THOSE to pry open paint cans or do other dumb stuff that screwdrivers aren't meant for, if you must.Or check out Tekton's other tools like pry bars and punches and stuff.Comfortable handles, same sizes in various lengths. PERFECT! Solid 5 stars. A set of tools for an adult. These didn't break, chip, spin in the handle, crack, bend or anything while tearing down a huge 1960s oscilloscope; disaasembling an old alarm system; building an electric guitar from a kit; fixing exterior AC fan unit or tons of other strenuous things over the past year+. These are nice enough for a house warming gift...but can handle more than just light jobs.I've been converted to this brand I guess.

Lot more money then the blister pack drivers at the big box store but we’ll worth it!
Never really realized how “bad” the cheap drivers I had were until I got these. It was not uncommon to have to replace a screw every once in a while with my cheap big box drivers. I honestly thought it was “normal” to have screw heads buggered up when tightened and loosened several times. Well not with these. After a month or so, I wondered if it was really because of the driver. I drove a number of different screws, with different types of heads in pairs ( using a DeWalt rechargeable impact). I tried to remove these one with these and one with the older cheapies. Several of the screw heads were damaged with the cheapies, while I didn’t damage any with this set. It also seemed much easier to remove them with this set. I have no way to “measure” that, it’s just a feeling. At any rate , I feel these are well worth the money and will no doubt buy more of them if some “disappear”

Love these screwdrivers
Very happy with this purchase. The heads are strong and easily withstand the abuse I put them through when working on cars. The handles are one of my favorite ones so far. A little softer than average and very nice grip. Great value for money!

well made and handles good but...
update: I have only used these a few weeks, and the black coating on the tips is already wearing off. this did nothing to keep the tip from camming out, so what was the point? I personally prefer a more traditional handle shape. overall still decent I will take them to my girlfriend's house so I don't have to use her pink tools. original review: I do like these and will continue to use them but the shafts do not feel as substantial and are a little more flexible than I am used to. made in the USA was a big selling point on these.

Cracking little Stubby Drivers at a good price.
Nice set of Stubby Screwdrivers. Purchased to use fixing down Electrical Containment (Basket, Trunking and Tray) where access is restricted due ceilings, closeness of containment running above each other and parallel walls. The are well made, the handle offers some great purchase due to its shape and they look pretty cool too :)All in all very happy with them!
