I have this lantern on my deck and love the look

My solar “Hummingbird Lantern” was just delivered to my home. Its design is so classy and beautiful! Surprisingly, it lit up the same night after removing the transparent plastic over the solar panel and turning it on!As FYI, it’s important to know that there is a AAA battery inside of the top of the lantern. I’ve learned from purchases of other brands of solar lanterns in the past, that if they stop working (lighting up at night) after about one month, it usually means that you need to replace the AAA battery under the top of the lantern. Instructions don’t always include that info. To replace battery, lanterns either have a lift-off piece under the top, or two tiny screws under the lantern’s top to unscrew. This “Hummingbird Solar Lantern” is made similar to others w/ a AAA battery inside.Although I bought this lantern for myself, it would be a great gift for a person’s entryway, garden, or on top of an outside table. I really like the white light that shines from it. I bought this gorgeous lantern mainly for its beauty and appropriateness to my home being on Hummingbird Court. At night or even during the day, the design of this colorful hummingbird lantern brightens up my ‘cottage garden’! It is hung on a shepherd’s hook 2 ft. above the top of my flowers. Just love it!

Beautiful and very good quality. This should last for a long time. The glass seems thick.

Gets brighter after a day or two in direct sunlight

Love this solar lamp! Bought as a gift but I want one for myself. Quality made and lights up nicely. Very happy with it!

It's fine. It lights up at night, and looks pretty in the day. unfortunately, the only complaint would be when it does light up, it simply lights up the lights inside, but you can no longer see the design.

The lantern is better than the description or photo. It is a work of art and well made. The lantern is 10 inches tall. Keep this in mind if you decide to purchase it. You will need a sturdy shepherd's hook if you plan to hang the lantern. Otherwise, as a table top it is just fine. I was planning to use the lantern on my shepherd's hook in one of my large planters but it was too tall, so I have to return it. Breaks the heart - it is an awesome product.

Working good however seems lower quality for the price

Bought this from amazon.com and it's now available at half the price on amazon.uk. it's quite pretty in fact its prettier when unlit as the harsh white light at night doesnt really suit the colours of the glass and warm white would look much better. Nevertheless it's very eye catching and is claimed to be waterproof. For the most part I wont be putting that to the test. Comes with battery installed which is a relief as they are the devil to take to pieces. I like these lights and have quite a few. They are different and stand out.
