Got this Costume for my Hubby; for Halloween Party 2024. Based on all the reviews got a Smaller Size, which would be a SMALL. Normally he would be a MEDIUM chest size 40.The costume was still a little bit big on him, But all I have to do is tie on him as tight a possible on the back. Some of the pieces I will be sewing them on so that they stay in place (but anyone can easily use a safety pin, if you cant sew).The Tunic is big but, it has to be that way so that there's room to move around. The Seam at the Neckline (which is WAY big) is very visible but if you fold it in when ironing it it will look good. I just got this costume today it came very fast (3 days). The costume looks fantastic and for the price you honestly can’t beat it compared to some big costume stores where the same thing would be $100 *cough* Spirit *cough*. However, despite the costume itself looking good there are a few things I want to let potential buyers know. Like the rest of the comments say, it runs very large. I usually wear a Large and ordered a small, it’s still pretty oversized. I’m 6 foot and 185 pounds with an athletic build and this thing is a touch too big. The second thing I’d like to note is that the costume itself, while looks great, is made cheaply, the Velcro doesn’t stick too well so be sure to pick up some pins to hold the cape in place and hold it up in spots. Other than those two things, this is a very solid costume with a very solid price point.

I bought a Halloween costume for my husband, and while the quality wasn’t the best, it was still good enough for the occasion. It fit well and looked great, which was what mattered most. it worked perfectly for a fun Halloween night! Decent for the price.

Look like a Gladiator, for a low price. Will wear this one many times .

This was a great costume, my son looked awesome. He had so many compliments. He is very tall (6'4) so he had to wear shorts underneath - the skirt part is pretty short but it didn't alter the look of the costume. He weighs 250lbs and the Large fit him just fine with room to spare.

So this costume is okay for it's pricing. I wasn't expecting actual leather armor. What I didn't expect is that the armor is only the front. There is not a back. It comes with two fabric sashes attached to the side that you can tied together in the back, making it like an apron. It came with everything and does not include the sword and shield, and sandals. You will have to buy those separately as they only come with polyester (it feels more like soft foam) leg guards. The tunic was beige. I'm not sure if they send out different color tunics but it came beige to me. It was very thin and it's very likely that you will have to wear shorts and/or a shirt to prevent a breeze to your parts down there. If you are smaller than what the size chart indicates, then it will be loose on you and maybe look a little big on you. The hanging skirt straps material feels a little flimsy because it's not as thick as the rest of the body armor. The picture makes the belts seem like they can be adjusted for a looser or tighter fit, they can't. They're made of a molded rubber and the buckles appear more gold than yellow. The shoulder guard is attached on and since the package did not come with instructions, it takes a while trying to understand it is best put on.Over all, it's an okay costume, not bad, not amazing. Just okay. I'd use it for Halloween or a simple dress up party but not a hardcore cosplay costume. If you want a cosplay, I'd say spend about $50+ more bucks and then you might get something that could make you pass as a legitimate gladiator. Other than that, this costume should be used mostly for Halloween.

Based on previous reviews, I went smaller than anything else I have ever ordered. I ordered the size small and I’m 6’3” and 230lbs. It fit fine, as you can see, and got me first place in a gladiator themed costume contest. Pair it with a helmet and shield and it’s a great outfit.
