Almay The Complete Look Palette, Light/Medium

This kit is all cool tones, there is not anything in this kit that doesn't suit me and my coloring. First time ever!!!

I’d searched everywhere for an “everything palette” to keep in my handbag for emergency touch-ups or as a backup if my checked luggage (containing my makeup bag) gets lost. This palette is small and flat and contains all the basics. I purchased the light/medium because I liked the neutral colors and pink blush however, the blush is actually very skin-toned (and I have really pale skin) so it’s more like a face powder than a blush. The lip colors also go on super light with very little pigment but the shadows seem fine. If you’re a person who loves a totally natural look, this light/medium might work for you- otherwise, I’d recommend going for one of the darker options. The brushes are tiny as mentioned in other reviews. For me, this kit would never work for “everyday” but it is a great emergency set. My palette arrived well packaged and without any cracked makeup.

Make-up palette arrived on time, but the applicators that were included had some sticky substance on them and disintegrated as I tried to remove them from their compartment. The make-up itself appears fine. I used an alcohol pad to clean up the applicator compartments and threw the bits away. Ew!

Love this palette! The colors are beautiful and I was pleasantly surprised at how pigmented they were and how long the products lasted. Of course the packaging could be better and the applicators are useless, but that is to be expected at this price point. Great bang for the buck, and hypoallergenic to boot.

Can take one compact instead of several makeup items. The price couldn't be beat.

I don’t know if this is really Revlon or a dupe, but the quality is shockingly bad. The brush fell apart the FIRST time I used it. Too late to return it…the design is poor also. It’s impossible to get the brush into the blush without hitting the dark eye shadow and lipgloss because they’re so close together. A total waste and I’m shocked that Revlon would put its name on such a mess.

I am a huge fan of Almay products and have used them for years. I was excited to try this palette, the colors looked very enticing and I like the concept of all products in one container. The make up is the usual Almay quality - no issues. The lip products are more of a gloss than a lipstick. The day eye shadow is a matte.I would suggest a different type of packaging. It is impossible to get the colors out without them spreading to the other colors. The eye shadow wound up in the blush (and then on my cheek) and the blush wound up in the lip gloss despite my best efforts to keep them separated and clean.Additionally the mirror is too small and the applicators are laughable - I tossed those.If you are looking for a daily make up product this may not be the one for you. If you are looking for something to toss in your purse for touch ups during the day or night I would definitely suggest it!
