Slightly smaller made, and not waterproof, but I really like them....
My safety trainers arrived in a simple padded bag. They were a bit squished but reformed perfectly after a few minutes wear. I will not be wearing thick work socks with them as they are very slightly smaller than I expected and I could have done with a half size larger. The upper section appears to have been made as a single piece of synthetic mesh that has been bonded to a more dense lining material. This makes for a substantial but very flexible component that is instantly comfortable in the way that canvas deck shoes are. There is no tongue to these trainers and you put them on like slip-ons then lace them up up for security and effect. They will even feel secure if you don't tie the laces or leave them off.The insole is comfortable and lightly padded. I could feel no bumps, holes or unpleasant seams.Instead of eyelets there are loops for the laces. This is far more comfortable and spreads the tension better like with modern hiking boots. The laces are slightly longer than I would have liked, but i love that a spare pair of was included with my purchase. The steel toecap insert is wider than others I have had before so it does not feel like it is compressing my toes. The rubber sole is thick yet very flexible. It grips well and the 'Kevlar' layer affords real peace of mind. These shoes are nothing like my previous safety wear. They look more stylish and are far more comfortable to wear for prolonged periods. Thanks to the breathable material, they don't seem to get too hot or become damp like some others did. They are also lighter yet provide excellent protection. I am happy to recommend then for indoor use as they are not waterproof and far too nice to wear in mucky areas.

Took a chance. Pleasantly surprised
I work outside a lot, and wear through (or ruin) trainers regularly. I often have a need to wear steel capped boots, but am unhappy doing so as they are uncomfortable and hot. Having searched for steel toed trainers , these items came up on Amazon. Although there seem to be many colour choices, it would appear black are the only ones that seem to readily available on Prime (which suited me fine). The price puts them at the upper end of the 'I can afford to take a chance on these' bracket if, like me, you loath the irritation of arranging returns, but I took a chance. The trainers arrived in an unmarked plastic bag. No problem. I was quite shocked at the quality - very good! Fit is comfortable and as expected (I wear, and ordered, a size 8), and being mesh on top, they are surprisingly cool. The toe cap itself is very roomy, which I was really pleased about, as my feet are wide. The sole seems very soft, and I am very comfortable wearing them all day.All in all, I am really pleased with these trainers. They're holding up really well, they're comfortable, and they're tough.

Very comfortable and light
When they were delivered they were not in a box just a plastic bag which was a bit off putting at first but the shoes them selves have not disappointed very light and comfortable. Tip, I went half a size up as I wear thick socks ,I've had them a week so we'll see how long they last over the coming weeks

Finally comfortable safety footwear!
Bought these for my partner as his original safety boots made his feet ache and sore at the top, where the toe cap joins. From the very first day of wearing them, no more aches, no more soreness. He forgets to take them off they are that comfortable and stylish!I definitely recommend to anyone who finds steel toe cap boots uncomfortable, these safety trainers are for you!

Amazing safety trainers
I purchased these for my husband who works in a place where he needs to wear strong safety shoes. Because of the lock down, they were not able to order the shoes for the employees, so I ordered these and he was very happy with them, they are strong, durable, well made and are also stylish. When he tried them on, he could not believe how comfortable they are, he said they felt light on the back and in the front where the metal cap toe, he felt that his toes and foot were very well protected. When he wore them to work, his colleagues were complimented how nice they looked. I definitely recommend to anyone who needs to wear safety trainers, these are definitely on top of the list.

Wrong size, right label
I ordered a pair as I don’t like wearing safety boot as I find they’re too heavy and make my feet sweat.I figured as these are trainers they’d be perfect for what I needed. I was wrong they arrived in a thin plastic ziplock bag. I ignored that as I guessed you get what you pay for. When I put them on they were very tight on the sides, and seemed too small. I looked at the packaging to check the size. It said size 12, so I figured they may need breaking in, it wasn’t until I looked at the label inside I saw the footwear was a size 46 (U.K. 11) not as ordered a (U.K. 12) or 47

I Like Them But They Don't Last Long
My job is a refuse loader and I walk allot and sometimes need to kick bins, so these shoes were perfect for me they're very comfortable, great to walk in and there is no need to break the shoes in.An issue I encountered was that there is NO WATER resistance at all, my job has me working outside allot so when its raining I suffered allot. My main issue (which is my reason for the 3 star) is that they don't last long I bought these about 1 month prior to me writing this review and they're starting to fall apart.I like them but they don't last long, hope this helps anyone who is considering buying these.

Falling apart after a matter of months
For £38 I expected these to last longer. After seeing 2 work colleagues wearing them I bought myself a pair. But one day I felt something in my shoe, it was a piece of plastic, days later more plastic in both shoes.I believe this comes from the housing that hold the metal toe cap.Asking my colleagues both said their shoes were also falling apart and both said they were the worst boots they’d bought. If these were £15 and good for summer then no problem, but for an industrial work boot too last soo little time, they utter rubbish. I’d not buy these again or recommend anyone buying these.
