Description was incorrect, this product is mainly plastic. The brackets are not even completely chrome coloured. The design is even worse, I didn't even bother fitting and spent a while searching for a rail kit with metal fittings. It seems they have gone out of fashion since I last purchased one with chrome on brass. I did eventually manage to find one from Roper Rhodes that was completely chrome plated metal for a fraction more.
