This book is a must-read for individuals in law enforcement and military service. Grossman's words resonate deeply with all Christian warriors.

The others have shared a perspective that many Christians have missed they're doing it in a biblical and positive motive message that lets people follow along with a deeper understanding rather than an emotional thrust Would have achieved , It is well researched, good references, I bought one for myself and given one away.

This is a great book on the Spiritual Battles we face as Christian’s. It gives us great tools as we serve in the Lord’s Army.

On Spiritual Combat is a book that I recommend everyone, at least 10 and older, read. It touches on sleep deprivation, suicide, and other ways the enemy comes at us.It's an excellent book to help one fight against the attacks of the enemy. I have it in every format, audible, kindle and printed.In Audible, I love hearing the author's voice narrating it. Lt. Col. Dave Grossman's heart is heard in his voice when he reads the book.I love this book so much, and feel so strongly that it should be read, that i have purchased over 100 copies of the printed form of it, and around 9 audibles to give to people. It is worth your time and money.In reference to the audible, I have seen a few comments on the bell / dong and the occasional repeating of a line. At first, the bell was irritating, but when I focused on what was being said after the bell, a verse from God's Word, then it made me focus in on the verse. The few times a line was repeated, again, it depends on what I choose to focus on. If I look at it as annoying, then I'll be irritated, but if I choose to focus on what Lt. Col. Grossman was emphasizing (whether or not the repeat was intentional) then I learn from it.The book is worth your time, in whatever format you choose to purchase it. His other books, On Combat, Bulletproof Marriage and Assassination Generation, i highly recommend the other books also.

Lt Col Dave Grossman is a blessing to the law enforcement and military professions. Full disclosure, I have been two his trainings twice. His advice on being prepared physically, mentally and spiritually… you can’t get any better than this book! If you are in any profession where public safety is your concern, get this book! All sheepdogs must be prepared!

Great read for those of us military minded individuals. Using this with the book "On Combat", really provides a better outlook on how we not only think but how we conduct our spiritual jouney.

This is a one of a kind devotional meditation book. Although it is specially designed for "sheepdogs", as Lt Col Dave Grossman has called it. A sheepdog is a protector, such as law enforcement, military, security, etc. It is, however, a great book for any man who wants to be challenged as a man, by a man. I especially like the audiobook edition that is narrated by Grossman himself. I am not in law enforcement, nor have I ever been in the military, but I am on the security detail at my church. I liked it so much, I bought the book on hard copy. I read an entry to my 20 year old son, and he was very impressed with it. I bought three more copies to give to some friends and family, two of which are in law enforcement.The book is relatively small and comes in a nice imitation leather cover with a ribbon place marker.
