Why do you claim 650 lumens when cree's own documentation rates the xp-g3 s5 at only 187 lumens @ 25c or 172lm at 85c?

I am not sure of exact lumens but it is brighter than my sure fire g2 rated at 210 lumenbut not as bright as my led maglite which is rated right at about 600 lumen. This is a very small very bright keychain light.

Why does the description say 650 lumens then say 550 lumens at “ about this item” ? Do you even know?

I think you or the describer are getting 2 models confused. The 650 lumens is the upgraded model. The 550 lumens is the older model. The new upgraded model has a circle button, while the old model has a digger oval pill shaped button. Just make sure it reads 2019 or newer on "first available date" on the Amazon page. Hope this helps.

Does polyamide dissipates heat well or I should go for a metal light?

Hmmmm... No real concerns about,(ahem) ingredients, but it does dim after 1.5 mins to help resolve heat issue
