Funny book. It could be a good gift.

If you love Richard Feynman, you will love this book.

I own nearly all of Feynman's books so I had really high hopes for this collection of quotes. I was expecting a small, dense book with Feynman's unique wisdom. Instead this book is more like a computer science project that cataloged every sentence Feynman ever wrote or recorded, whether poignant or mundane, into chapters.Generally we think of a quote as a saying that has particular wisdom, wit, or humor, but this book is filled with nearly every word ever captured that Feynman said. A good 90% of the book is completely mundane and some quotes are even baffling in their lack of context and their categorization within the book.I'd much rather have a 50-page book that is distilled down to Feynman's real wit and wisdom than this catalog of every word ever captured.If you are a real Feynman fan perhaps get the Kindle version and read the shared highlights and skip the rest.

Great summary of your favorite quotes.

That's the second volume with Feynman's correspondence compiled by his daughter. While the first one contained letter exchange with well-known physicists and other scientists, this one is devoted to his letters to and from ordinary people. It is an invaluable book for those who are eager to learn more about the person's side of that famous physicist.

Even though I'll never be able to tackle Richard Feynman's " Physics Lectures " , this book " The Quotable Feynman"has enabled me to appreciate at a distance the excellence of a 1st Class mind in dealing with almost any topic youcan think of. How he got the time outside his work to consider it all is in itself exceptional. Many thanks toMichelle Feynman for a superb book and memory.

There is no way I can absorb all the information and humour in this book. I will have to read it again. One thing I missed and expected was a discussion on some of the problems he tackled and his solutions. That would be a fascinating book.
