Thunderbirds Agents' Technical Manual - 50th Anniversary Edition: International Rescue Paperback – September 15, 2015

Loved the technical schematics on just about every machine the Thunderbirds use, not just Thunderbirds 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Colorful but not garish, well organized, and chock full of information. Even if you're not a Thunderbirds geek, this is a fun way to spend an afternoon.

My husband is a Thunderbirds geek from his childhood. One of the first things he told me about when we were married was about this awesome marionette show when he was a kid. Imagine his delight when the local TV station began showing the reruns early on Saturday mornings!Fast forward 20-some-odd years. He's now created two more little Thunderbirds geeks in our children. This year for Christmas, the children and I were perusing my husband's wish list, and one of the children spotted this book and had to get it for her daddy. This gift prompted loud laughter and joy when he unwrapped it on Christmas morning. He spent the better part of the afternoon, with said child draped over his shoulder, reading it from cover to cover. He loved it!

Great diagrams and schematics of the equipment, some backstory on the characters and situations depicted in the television series. A real testament to the creativity and imagination of series creators Sylvia and Gerry Anderson.

The verisimilitude added by the professional drafters of this book really make the machines come alive. The cutout views showing little details like safety locks, fire extinguishers, access panels, and so much more make you believe these are real engineering schematics from a dash-2 manual. No fan should be without it.

An enjoyable trip down memory lane. One of my favorite shows growing up. Ran across the new series, which started me to research the old TV show. That's how I found this gem. A very good book on details of the old show. Would recommend to any Thunderbird fan.

Fun book to see how the show was imagined

Watched Thunderbirds when i was a kid in the early 70's.This book is great and explains a lot of technical stuff that they never explained on the show. Recommend getting this book.

What a great book for TB fans. Looks like every other Haynes manual, until you open it up, then you get all the technical info on every aspect of TF's, Tracy island, TB1, TB2, THB3, etc, Design details, technical details, main charactor profiles, (and back stories), Mission (episode) profiles, as well as ancillary vehicle details, eg: TB 4's "the mole", etc. There are also some truly awesome graphics, plans, technical drawings of all things TB's. If you like Thunderbirds, you will like this. NB: the info appears to be based on the original (puppet) TB's series, not the new animated one.

A joy to read for any Thunderbirds fan who wants to know about the little details and facts about the mighty machines of International Rescue and their world. One thing though I had a copy of the old version when I was younger and I remember a page about Lady Penelope's manor but this versions lack it

What can be said about Thunderbirds, other than FABulous. The annual is full of facts, pictures, details, even plans of the aircraft to make up.A truely amazing booking I would recommend this for anyone who has an interest in the Thunderbirds or a real fan an absolute most.Definately excellent value, a brilliant book.

Should have an age-limit on this of 30 years and above.What a fantastic book!!! Can't put this down. there is so much information, detail and facts about the ORIGINAL series, anyone who saw Thunderbird's the FIRST time round, I totally recommend that they buy this item.Great price too...

What can I say? An absolute must for all Thunderbirds fans. I have the original, and this is even better, having details of all the other crafts.There has been something missing in my life for a while now, and this is it - 10/10
