These straps can fall off the tire while you are on the road
The carriage bolts are designed to be inserted into a wood deck, which means there is almost two inches of the bolt that doesn't have a thread. You will need to replace them with 5/16 x 1" carriage bolts to bolt it onto a metal deck. This is not mentioned in the product description. Once installed, these straps have a tendency to fall off the tire because the clamp releases a minor amount of material or the tire shrinks when the temperature varies significantly. In addition, the clamp will not lock on either side without pliers if you have an off road tire tread and the clamp does not get placed directly over solid rubber. A better design would be to replace the single strap with a basket strap over the top of the tire or an additional strap tied horizontally that would keep the strap on the tire when you are on the road. The clamp is wrong for off road vehicles. I love the concept of tying the tire instead of the vehicle's suspension and I like the design and quality of the chocks but I will always need to keep an eye on the straps when I travel. After using this product for one season, I am even more unimpressed with it. I have traveled on a rough road for 10 miles after using channel lock pliers to get two straps tight and found my ATV totally unstrapped and walking around the trailer! I purchased two additional ratchet bound straps and wrapped them horizontally around the tires and these straps. They don't keep these straps tight but they do keep the ATV from walking.

I will be returning them.
I suggest watching the video on Youtube on how to thread the strap through the mechanical buckle since directions are not furnished with the kit. Also, the commentator of the video stated that directional arrows are stamped on the side of the buckle. Mine do not have these. After considerable frustration and consideration of returning them, I resorted to youtube, which proved to be a good move. Finally, they are mounted to the trailer, wheeler is strapped to the chocks, and they work great!

Super tie downs.
these tie downs are great, we have used them to haul our rzr in a trailer. they are very easy to use and tie down takes very little time, even less for removal. I love them, they hold the side by side in place no matter how rough the road to the trail heads are. Installation was a little time consuming but not hard. I am 76 years old and have had 5 back surgeries so it was a little tough to lay down to fasten the nuts, but I did it, so if I can anyone can.

Love em, trust em
I use these tie downs for my 2015 Can Am Maverick XRS DPS. I towed it over 3000 miles with two of these straps only, not a single problem. Just remember to put your ATV/UTV in neutral. Great product, waited months and months for out of stock restocking to get these babies.

Ok, not great
These are ok, saw somebody else had them and thought it was a good idea. Really pay attention to where you are gonna drill all the holes in your trailer. Had to make several adjustments from where I originally was going to put them due to board width on my trailer, trailer wiring, and angle iron supports.

I realm like this strap. Easy to install and it really holds my golf cart in my enclosed trailer. No more laying on the floor to strap it down!

Works great
Works great to strap my UTV down, I don't worry about it moving after I strap it down.
