These are a little thin, but they will work for light use. I have plaster walls. After reading the directions, I thought it would be better to use command strips to hang these. The strips would not have stayed stuck to the wax paper liner on the back, so I removed it. I was quite surprised that the adhesive on the back was quite sticky. I would take caution if you are going to stick them to drywall. It may peel the top paper layer off the drywall when you are removing them. I'm not in love with the pushpin colors that came with the set, but the clothespin idea is very cute. Turned out decent and I will probably buy more.

I bought a couple of these sets and let my kids create their own unique bulletin boards. My daughter made a mermaid (she even added eyes and hair!) and my son just made a geometric pattern. I love that they were able to show their owner personalities and be creative.These have been up for over a month now. The adhesive is pretty great. All of the pieces have stayed up except one, so I used some 3m strips to put it back up. And my kids have some HEAVY items on their boards.Cons:Not really repositionable. If you try to reposition them they won't be sticky enough. They did not damage my wall though.Too thin for your average push pin. I bought a really cute set and the pins go all of the way through to the wall behind. It doesn't appear to do any damage.I do recommend these cork board tiles!

These tiles worked very well for my purpose. Adhesion is excellent, complete coverage of the entire surface. Stick well, they are not moving. Do be aware these will work only for completely flat surfaces. Any texture to wall or object could cause some adhesion issues. As for the cork material itself, that would be a little less quality than it could have been. The cork feels very flaky and I feel it would easily crack with just some slight bending. Very soft and I would not expect it to hold anything of weight with a tack pin. I would recommend this for hanging up single sheets of paper or photos only, as the cork is very soft and the tacks will fall out when holding weight. The thickness of the individual tiles leaves a little something to be desired, they are about a quarter of an inch thick, so about the depth of a small tack. With those points being made, I still really like them, they are easy to install and look great. Plus you get 10 for the same price other companies are selling four or five tiles. You could make some very cool geometric patterns and shapes with these and I love the shape of these tiles compared to circular or square tiles. It definitely gives it some more modern style. Overall I give these a four, with one point lost for cork quality and thickness.

Let me start by saving that I had hope that these would be perfect.. and they were.. until we tried to remove them. Living in an apartment we always look for temporary solutions, this was great. The reviews said that they peel off easy like command strips. Perfect. Exactly what we are looking for. Except, the people writing the reviews must have had theirs stuck to wax paper only because these do NOT come off. We are left here prying them off with a screw driver because they are so stuck. You try to pull them off, nice and slow, and they break off and you are left holding cork that is now stuck to your hands. The adhesion is great if you never ever EVER want to remove these again.

I normally do not like to give bad reviews, so I'm giving this one with a disclaimer: It might have just been because I did not follow directions properly.The cork boards were just as I expected them to be, they look sturdy and it also comes with these nice clothes pins that you could use to hang things on the cork board. I wasn't expecting them to have those at all which is a nice plus. but I am a little upset by the adhesion. The boards are very sticky and even if you remove them from the wall, they're still pretty sticky, but for whatever reason, they always just fell off over night from my wall. I tried several times to keep them on, but for three days straight, I would just find the cork boards on the ground.I was using this cork board to hold all my Polaroid pictures, my favorite ones anyway. So I wasn't putting too much weight on it, but I do suspect that it might have been the shift in cold and hot weather making them fall off, or maybe it was the wall which is painted with semi-gloss paint causing them to unstick. regardless of what caused it though, it did still fall off several times.

I used these for years and they never peeled off the wall. In fact it was really tough getting them off the wall when we had to redo the bedroom.

I bought these back end of July and pretty sturdy. Adhesive was very sticky, had to really press it down on my wall a few times but other than that it's held all my pins and none have fell. I should've gotten thicker too, because the pins kind of stick through. The only time it did fall is when I pulled it off and moved it to another area and I didn't push it down hard enough to really make sure it's stuck but I definitely recommend these if you want to put your pins on them and they can hold alot too.

From a quality standpoint, each of the items I received were cut precisely to the same dimensions and the adhesive on the back stuck to surfaces firmly. If you want those push pins to stick in the cork, however, I do recommend doubling them up. They still look nice, and they do stick together firmly when doubled. I decided to cut one of them to perfectly fit into my cabinet, and they cut easily with a solid pair of kitchen shears. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase!
