Great picture quality but beware of long cable runs with patch bay breaks.
This was my second attempt to transmit my STB in living room to bedroom. The first product I tried produced terrible quality picture with frame rate issues even on the local HDMI pass through.I was very impressed with this unit, the pass through HDMI was excellent and also worked on a 15 metre run over cat6 to my garage patchbay. Problem came when I then attempted to forward the signal via patchbay to my bedroom another 15 - 20 metres away. As the receiver is only powered over the cat6 I think this was the issue but in fairness it could be my cable quality (run in the walls/ceiling so not changeable).In the end I chose to relocate the STB to my garage and purchased a twin receiver system (both receivers have 5v power sockets) sending to both the living room and bedroom which works perfectly for me.So I would certainly recommend this for a simple setup with local HDMI pass through and a single cat6 run to a second location, perhaps up to 40m... anything more complicated and you may have issues.

This HDMI extender works very well over cat 6 cable and I was able to put it on 150 foot cat 6 cable without any issues whatsoever. The boxes are nice and sturdy and easy to mount up and everything checks out as being good quality so far, the r sensors are over HDMI does indeed work pretty good and has some good length to it to set it up just how you need it to be to work properly. The image quality does suffer a bit no matter what cable you use just because of the conversion within the devices however it certainly isn't noticeable on smaller screens as I'm currently utilizing it for a 65 inch 4K screen monitoring a camera system in which it works very well. Highly recommended!
