STERR Inline Extractor Fan DFA125 Duct Fan 125 mm / 5’’ - Industrial Fan Low Energy Consumption

The subject title says it all.

This seems like a good quality product, was easy to fit although the wiring instructions are confusing especially relating to the two speeds, I decided to leave it as it is because I couldn't work out how to change the speed. I'm assuming it's on high speed and it's not too noisy, but not super quiet either.

I have this in my living room. Used for air filterI've only used it on high setting and its quiet . Main noise is the sound of air coming out of itI will try it on low setting soon if only to reduce air noise .I connected it to a fan controler to vary speed but surprisingly on low and medium was loud and on full was quiet again so gave up on fan controller extra .Value for money looks great . Best I could find.

Had a relatively powerful wall extractor, supper noisy and just ddn't tdo the job, lots of condensation and and balck mould as a consequence. So when renovating my bathroom, got this and installed in my loft above the shower. I connected with 6" flu. To minimise the noise potential I suspended the fan in the air with a couplke of 4x2" joists and boxed it in with some MDF. Worked a treat, less nise than my other one and no vibration. The performance is great, no condensation even my mirror doesnt steam up like it used to. Would recommend.

Shifts a lot of air quickly, preventing steam build up. Not quite as quiet as I'd hoped, but a vast improvement on the previous fan and does the ventilation job much better. The sound is a gentle hum and I'm not surprised to hear it because it is only two feet from the large ventilation grille. Because steam disappears almost instantly, have reduced the run on time from the previous 30 minutes to just five minutes. Lost a star for poorly presented wiring instructions. They're okay if you've done this sort of thing before (a fan with a run-on timer needs a permanent live feed and isolation switch) but they could be a lot clearer.

Installed in bathroom, working okay, ( three times better then old one) but to be honest it’s not that powerful like I fought, was thinking that it’s going to pull dust from the floor:) but it’s not :)

Now been installed for a couple of weeks and working well ,easy to install,quiet and good extraction rate for medium size sized bathroom. I was not clear on wiring and emailed company which quickly answered my questions. Really impressive customer service. Very pleased.
