Iris & Lilly Women's Long Velour Bathrobe

I purchased this dressing gown as a Christmas present to myself. It was just what I was looking for, and after looking at several of the places I’d normally order loungewear and nightwear from I became stumped when couldn’t find what I wanted in the colour that I wanted so of course headed to Amazon where I knew there was a chance I’d find just what I desired.I will say I was surprised that it happened to be in the form of one of Amazon’s own lines, but pleasantly surprised as the items that I’ve had from them so far have all been great quality, and this dressing gown is no exception.The material is so silky soft and plush, like running your hand over the most softest velour you’ve ever felt.I can’t get over just how soft and cosy it is. Also keeping me really warm on these cold winter nights.I love the black colour- it’s a true black. Which makes it really chic and expensive looking.The length is perfect- ending just a few inches lower than the knees on me, and I’m around 5ft 7in.The length of the arms is also perfect- not too short and not too long so that they end up covering the hands. Just perfect for adding lots of snuggle warmth to my arms.The belt around the middle is just as soft as the rest of the dressing gown, and ties easily to keep the dressing gown closed and the heat in.I’d say it’s definitely good value for money- I’ve paid more in the past for a dressing gown that wasn’t anywhere near as soft and plush as this one. I would order the same again in the future without a doubt. In fact I also ordered one in the men’s range for my husband I have been that impressed.

When I first got this. I was tempted to get another but in a different colour.But. I have spent many a good five minutes. Stitching seams that have drifted apart.Not my idea of relaxing with PJ's.But. I do like the material and it is Winter warm.So maybe I will buy it again. For next Winter and the thread, to match

Did everyone else get something different to me? Is there a belief that if you give good reviews you get sent free stuff?The material isn't that thick and yes, the sleeves are too short.

Bought for my Grandma and was not expecting it to be so fluffy and cosy! When it arrived I considered keeping it and buying another one as it's just like a blanket!

Nothing plush about this dressing gown!!! The worst quality item I have ordered on-line......do not believe any reviews in favour of this garment. It is the cheapest and dreadful quality of material, poorly made, nothing at all to compliment it. My husband does not usually offer a comment, but even he said OMG what is that supposed to be. So, it was almost Christmas, I live in Spain and did not want to get into the returns procedure. So, it was given to the local charity shop. Very very disappointed. Please note I gave one star because I could not leave a review without denoting a star.......in reality it did not deserve even one star.

This is a lovely dressing gown. It fits well, is a good length, ie long enough to look and feel cosy and yet not so long that I trip over it. I'm 5'2" on a good day and it comes to mid just above my ankles. It's also warm and cosy and yet also lightweight. I'm very impressed!

I got it today, tried it on and ended up not taking it off because of the unique softness and Comfortable. I have bought so many robes but never as roomy and Comfortable as this. I am a UK L size but I bought size 16 because I like free, it is roomy enough for me to wrap properly. I love it and will buy another colour. The only reason I did not give all star is because I am just putting it on today.

This was meant to be velour as l use these for after a shower..It is a light soft fleece which l will not use. Meant to sent it back but the cat jumped on it and slept there for a couple of hours. Moral to the story put it back into packaging straight away. So if you want a fleece robe this is for you..
