Better than expected
I bought boots for my husband. He said they're very comfortable and great for hikes or across muddy fields on dog walk. Easy to clean & water proof. Keep your feet warm on cold frosty day, yet on milder days feet dont over heat. Stylish for use of everyday winter boots. I highly recommend them, iv also got a l pair.

Good Value
Was bit concerned having ordered UK size 11s to find box and shoes marked as UK 13. However, checked against other shoes and size seems to be 11. When worn, fit was comfortable - not too big - so appear to be incorrectly labelled. Only worn once for long walk. No discomfort or rubbing. Durability remains to be seen.

Great shoes
Bought for daughters residential trip in the Highlands and they kept her warm and comfortable. Will be useful through winter. They were small made though. She is usually a 3 and we had to return them and size up to a 4 which fit perfectly

After 2 weeks of intense use...
I'm writing this review after two weeks of intense use, and I aim to update it six months down the line too. After these two weeks during which I walked over 80KM in these boots, and spent close to 12 hours or so standing on my feet with a heavy backpack, here are my likes and dislikes:LIKES:-1. Very comfortable boots straight out the box- I did have to break them in a little bit, but they weren't unduly uncomfortable till I did. Better experience so far than with most of my other shoes to date, some of which were much more expensive.2. Fit perfectly- I'm a size 10UK, and that's what I ordered. The boots fit perfectly, even though my feet are slightly wider than normal size 10(s).3. Remain comfortable after very long walks- The boots remain comfortable even after walking 15KM or more. I haven't experienced any foot fatigue so far, and no foot pain at all.4. Thick and grip well- I haven't felt any sharp stones or such on my walks, even in areas where I would have with previous pairs. The boots have an amazing grip, and didn't slip even when crossing slick stones over a brook. I was the only one of the group who got through without issues, so that speaks for itself.5. Warm and waterproof- They aren't kidding about that. The shoes are warm yet ventilated, and completely waterproof (so far). I even splashed around in a few puddles and walked through some wet mud to test that, and my feet were dry inside.6. Easy to put on and take off- Unlike some other boots I've had, these are easy to slip on and off.DISLIKES:-1. Laces slip easily- The laces on the boots tend to come loose/undone at least once or twice a day, no matter how tightly I knot them up or which knots I use. They're easy to take off after a long day, true, but it's a bit of an inconvenience the rest of the time. That's it from me for now, I'll be back in 6 months to update this review (if I remember to). As of right now, I give these a huge thumbs up!

6 month Review Update 3 month review. My First pair of Hiking boots. -January 2021
OK so after walking to work through the winter in these boots they are still comfortable and I haven't got wet feet yet. I did notice yesterday 31/05/21 that they have both come apart at the seams and the soles are wearing through. I know these are on the cheap end of the price scale but I would expect more than 6 months wear out of them.I will contact Amazon as requested by Regatta for a replacement / refund.I purchased these boots at the beginning of November 2020 to use to walk to work, dog walks and for festivals.first impressions were that they fit quite snuggly, I have quite thin feet with a high instep and found they fit very well. Putting on and taking off the boots is fairly easy as the top two lace holes are of the convention type and the others are of a looped material type ( that grip the lace once tied up but allow some give). As others have mentioned the laces supplied are of quite poor quality, although they don't show any signs of fraying they do require double knotting otherwise they come undone very quickly ( I will replace with better laces at some point). For the first few days I expected some blisters as the boots settled in but I was surprised to notice my feet were fine, I think this is because the boots allow your feet to breathe pretty well.My walk to work is only around 1.5 miles each way, along tarmac footpaths and through woods that get very wet, muddy and Icey during the winter months. I've had no problems whatsoever with these boots although during the last week with the Icey footpaths and roads I have been very conscious of slipping over as the soles are made of a quite hard rubber. The grip pattern is great through the mud but on ice they just don't feel as grippy as I would have like but these are on the cheaper side of Hiking boots so I would expect some parts to be made of a cheaper material. Our dog walk is usually around 1.5 miles and can be over fields, through woods and/or on the beach and I must say I prefer these 100 times more than Wellington boots. the grip is far superior that Wellies and they keep your feet warm but without your feet becoming sweaty. I have also walked through puddles around 50mm-75mm deep and the water hasn't entered the boot ( The sole on the boot is around 25mm)Conclusion - Snug Fit but comfortable (you may need order a larger size than usual ) Grip could be better for Icey/Smooth Slippery surfaces. Laces are quite poor and don't hold when laced.I would definitely recommend and buy another pair again once these have worn out.
