Visited Dublin last summer and took the tour. I did not see this particular shirt in the gift shop and was really interested in the story behind Gilroy. Spotted this shirt on amazon and the price dipped a couple of bucks so took the plunge. Fun shirt and fit as expected. I’m often between a Large and XL. I figured if it’s 100% cotton it could shrink a bit. So for me it’s a line dry item. I was surprised on how soft it is. Really nice shirt with the Guinness logo along the seam. Appears to be very nice quality.

I'm confused by the other reviews saying how small this shirt runs. I didn't experience this at all. My husband wears big and tall size 3xl or 4xl and this fit perfectly and was of good quality. He loves it.

I really like this shirt and get a lot of compliments on it. It is very comfortable and is a nice thickness.

Some are claiming it’s European sizing. It is not, made in NY, USA. If anything it’s an athletic cut. 42” chest, 32” waist size Large is perfect, not tight. XL is too big unless you prefer a baggy look. I do agree that it has an odd new clothes smell, but that washes right out. High quality shirt. More of a distressed black look than solid black.

I bought this as a gift for my husband. The graphics are wonderful ( of course), the fit was as expected and the shirt has good weight to it.

The quality of material used to make this shirt is better than I expected. Not heavy and hot but not thin and whimpy either. The color is more gray than black if you ask me but hardly noticable. I'd recommend.

Bought as a gift & was really impressed with the quality. The fabric is super soft.

I love this shirt. I did not realize the front said "Anticipation," and the back is where the tortoise is. So I wear it backwards because I prefer the tortoise on the front. It seems like when I wash this shirt, it is fading quickly. Like the black shirt has areas on it that are turning a little grey. I do not use harsh chemical detergents so idk why this is happening. No matter, I still really like the shirt.
