Does what it should
Basic connector Togo with other Melnor hose fittings. Seems to be well engineered and robust. No leaks when connected.

One of the better connectors available Well made , durable and no leaks
The connection is strong and operation is smooth ,much better quality than many of the clones on the market. They operate as they should the connection feels just like more expensive brands with no leaks I Purchased these because no matter what I always seemed to need to create an adapter , I either had two male or female ends And I was sick of having to take fittings off different items to make an adapter or share connectors between different guns , sprinklers etc.. they are very quick and easy to use I no longer have to fight the hose ends which are either stuck together because I over tightened ,The Rubber seals or o rings are constantly getting damaged ,deformed or misaligned causing leaks. The next problem with hose ends is that they fuse together Due to a reaction between aluminum and brass. For those of you who do not know you shouldn’t connect aluminum fittings with brass fittings even though most manufacturers coat the aluminum hose ends and fittings to make them look like they are brass it does not stop the reaction that fuses The different metals together. I have destroyed many fittings and hose ends trying to take them apart Brass is much more durable than aluminum There are a few ways to tell the difference between the two Brass is much heavier than aluminum also Once you screw them together a couple of times the coating wears off the aluminum exposing the silver color if you are still unsure you can use a piece of sandpaper and lightly sand the hose end or fitting preferably not on the threads where they screw together. These plastic fittings completely eliminate these problems as well as being far quicker and easier to use!!!

Love these and they DON"T RUST OR CORRODE!
When I first moved into my house, several years ago, I purchased a half dozen brass looking connector sets from one of the big box hardware stores. They looked brass so I thought that they would last several years without corroding. Wrong. The brass look was only a thin coating that soon wore off. Then I found that the shit metal they were made of had galvanically welded itself to my hoses!!! Not good.So after cutting my hose ends off - ARGH! - and replacing them with new ones I determined to NEVER use metal outside here unless I had to. Everything would be plastic or other non-corrosive/non-metallic material.I ordered several of these and they are holding up just fine. One thing I do though, is put a light coating of Alladdin PTFE based lubricant/sealant, "Magic Lube", on the threads and area of the 'O' rings. This prolongs their service life out here in the hot sun.The reason you want these, in case you think you have to get the male/female connector kit instead is that you only need one female connector to go on the end of your hose. These female connectors have a ball valve inside that automatically shuts off the water supply when the male connector is not connected. If I want to use the hose without a sprayer or other attachment, I just put a male connector on by itself.I also use these for flushing my boat engine. I have one mounted in the engines flush connector and it's great not having to deal with turning of the water before connecting and turning it off after. I just click it in and the water flows. I take it out and the water shuts off.

Gets the job done and easy to install and use
I have a bunch of these as I have hoses in multiple places in my yard. I usually am changing between a wand and a sprinkler or swapping hoses at the bib.Pretty durable but I have yanked the hose a couple of times and snapped one or two off at the bib, my fault entirely. They are plastic but durable. My only real complaint is that when using the wand, they do drip a bit but stop once the wand is turned off (pressure on seal). so I can leave the spigot on all the time without wasting water, it is only when it free flows from the end (wand or sprinkler) that it leaks. Not a problem with the sprinkler obviously, but sometimes I want to use the wand and keep dry :)

Must have to multiple hose accessories
Makes life so much easier. I have 3 hose spickets, 2 hoses, and about a million accessories. I use these quick connects for everything. It makes it so much easier to switch from sprayer to sprinkler to water toys. I’ve been using them for 3 years, and everything has held up great. Just coming back for more attachments for the splash pad I just got for the kids.

Best Little Gadget Since Microwave!!
I hate struggling with hoses in the first place and trying to get them together while the hose decides to twist another way so I bought these and as quick as a flash you can connect your hose, power washer or whatever and get your job done! Thank you for whoever came up with these quick connects! I have them on every hose!

I ordered these quick attachments with the expectation that someday about now they would break. They did not and look brand new. Beautiful and well made. Worth the money and ease of use.

Leaky
These don’t fit perfectly in the Gardena female adaptors and leak at the joint. While this may be ok for a sprinkler, it’s a pain when used on a shower or spray head. Would not buy again.
