Could you paint these rocks?

they dont take paint easily, small transfers and spray sealer ok though on reverse side. better with smooth unpolished stones to paint then sealer. they are lovely stones though and well worth the money, very popular just now with small velvet pouch if for gifts x

Is the rock engraving double sided?

No - they are single sided - I was impressed with the ‘shine’ & quality of ‘engraving’.

could i use these underwater in a water feature?

Absolutely. They are engraved really well so no paint to flake off.
