Great Value, Better Than Expected
I did some research on this machine and another very similar machine made by a different company. I will be honest, they both had pretty bad reviews. I really like the size and look of the D01 and the one thing that was mentioned in every review was how solid the structure of the D01 is. I bought the Tronxy D01 fully expecting that I was going to need to upgrade a lot of components to make it serviceable. I assembled the printer in less than 30 minutes and figured I would test it before I ordered any of the upgrade parts I had on my list. The only thing I did that was not part of the normal assembly was rebuild the hot end. (I do this on every new printer I buy) There are some good videos on YouTube. The main thing I look for is the way the insulator tube is cut, most of the time they are not straight and don't seal well to the tip. I fired up the D01 and printed the standard Benchy, Cube, etc. I was surprised at how well they came out! I wasn't expecting much, but the D01 handled everything like a champ. I decided to give it a real challenge and loaded up a dragon that even the best printers struggle with, I'm not going to say it was perfect, but it sure wasn't bad considering I haven't had any time to fine tune the settings. I couldn't be happier! I honestly see no need to upgrade the D01. As soon as they go on sale again, I'll be picking up a couple more for my shop!

Previously Sold
Was obviously repackaged from having been previously sold. Filament in extruder, protective plastic only on one leg. Filament tube kinked so unusable. As well as damage to bed ? Did someone crash into extruder??? Will likely return. Forgot to add in description saya "auto bed leveling" NOT AVAILABLE ON THIS MODEL.UPDATE: kept printer due to pandemic..didnt want to take to shipping store. Had to fix a few things but works well. Put a good capricorn bowden tube on it. Also description says comes with flexable build plate.Did NOT... came with glass build plate.. clearance issues to extruder. Buy a good build plate.Would like to give 4 stars (Desigh deserves it...execution doesnt) but cant...correct your description...dont send out used equipment

It is a good machine and very good filament
I give the printer 5 stars (it is strong and does what it has to do) and especially its filament that is of very good quality, I had several problems at the beginning, but I came to the conclusion that it was the filament that I bought that did not was from this brand tronxy, when I returned to the tronxy filament my impressions were good again, the technical support and customer service is very basic, I understand if it is a new company but they have to improve or they will not have satisfied customers

Buyer beware
This looked like a nice 3d printer. Received it and was very easy to assemble but would start to print then shutoff and restart every time.

A good budget CoreXY printer, with very little setup needed
Overall, I'm quite happy with this printer. It's the first 3D printer I've gotten, though I've had several friends with 3D printers, and I have a homemade CNC mill. This printer needed very little setup work given the price. That's not to say there were no issues, of course. This is a cheap printer, especially for being a CoreXY design, so I'd expect some hiccups.First thing I noticed is that a little daughter board with an attached battery (I'm guessing it's battery backed memory for storing settings) had come loose during shipping. This was easily remedied by finding the right socket on the controller board to plug it into, and the right orientation for it. Tronxy's customer support was very helpful with this, and responded within a day.Next was a small quality control issue that is really purely cosmetic: two of the screws that hold on the bottom panel were long enough that they damaged the underside of the power supply. However, it doesn't seem to impact performance at all.The next issue was also related to quality control, though it didn't have any real impact on the final quality since I caught it during assembly: The extruder housing hadn't been thoroughly tightened, so it was split open along the seam. Just pushing it shut and tightening the screws a bit fixed this. The final issue I had is one I've only partly been able to work around, though it somehow doesn't seem to negatively impact my prints: bed leveling. When leveling the bed, in the front right corner, the nozzle would always hit the bed, even after I tightened down that corner as far as it would go. I tried adding some washers between the Z limit switch bracket and the frame, and ended up having to actually replace those screws with longer ones so that I could use two washers to shim it so it wouldn't impact the bed at Z=0. Even then, it seems a bit inconsistent: sometimes when leveling it will still hit hard against the bed, and other times it won't. Even after adjusting the leveling of all 4 corners, I can never get the paper to catch it the middle, so it seems like the provided glass plate might be bowed. Somehow, I still never have first layer issues. The extruder seems to need a little more retraction than most others, since with default settings in leaves a bunch of little lumps on the surface. Now on the the best parts! The single best feature of this printer is the fact that they give you a pre-assembled top frame with the belts already in place and correctly tensioned. This saves a ton of fiddly work, and is an absolute necessity for anyone who wants a CoreXY as their first printer. The provided glass plate with textured coating on top works like a charm. None of my prints with the provided roll of PLA have had adhesions issues of any sort, and after the bed cools off, they pop right off with very little effort.Overall, this printer is an excellent value, even better when it's on sale. I'll still probably replace the hot end, but overall I'm very happy with its out of the box performance.
