Great product for the price.

Overall you get what you paid for. You get a nice clarinet mouthpiece and really nice thumb pads to put on the clarinet mouthpiece. The mouthpiece also comes with mouth pads to put on the mouthpiece at to protect it and the players teeth. The reeds at 2 and 1/2 strength are a good strength for a starting player. However I have two concerns about this set. number one the ligature will not stay put on the mouthpiece no matter how tight one tightens the screws. This makes it nearly impossible to play with this ligature in place without having to continuously tighten the screws and refit the reed. Number two the strap that comes with the set does not have the proper end piece to fit on the thumb holder as with most clarinets. Instead this neck piece has a clip which would clip onto a ring. This is more of a saxophone neck piece than a clarinet neck piece. When I did get the clarinet to play with this mouthpiece the sound was rich meaning that the mouthpiece is nicely made and the reeds are in good shape. We are just going to have to figure out what to do with the ligature.
