Batteries not needed with Bluetooth capability
A little pricey for the quality of the product, the features are the same as other CD players I’ve owned so nothing extremely special about it except for the fact that it is Bluetooth. I feel that we are paying for the Bluetooth feature me than anything else. The connectivity is fine. The player picks up the signal in for my none brand earpods in about 20 secs, just be like the manual specifies. About the manual, it is comprehensive and well written. 👍 the accessories are great, I also appreciate that it comes with a velvety pouch and a nice pair of East phones. At first I connected the apple ear phones and worked okay except for I noticed a distortion in the sound quality and honestly I think that the it has more you do with compatibility than a defect. The sound quality worked great with the ear phones provided and with my none brand ear pods. I also think that better quality ear pods or speaker would provide clean sound. The player is anti Shock but it is recommended to treat the player with care and don’t drop it, as one should be with electronics if you want it to last you. Oh the battery life I haven’t tested yet but on 1/2 charge it lasts about an hour. Definitely love that no batteries are needed! 🤗

Pairs With My Car Bluetooth
My 2018 Buick Regal GS doesn't have a CD player. I don't have the time to download all my CDs to a thumb drive or to my phone, so I wanted a portable CD player that would pair with my car. While it does pair with my car stereo & my car stores the CD player in Bluetooth memory, the CD player doesn't automatically remember my car & it has to be paired to the car each time it's used. It would be great if the CD player automatically paired like your phone does when you get in your car, but it doesn't. This is a pain to do each time, but it is nice to be able to listen to my CDs in the car now. I bought a CD to USB cord thinking I might need it in case it didn't pair, but I didn't need the cord. The different genre listening modes sound drastically different through my care Bose system (ie Jazz, Rock, Classical, etc) & you can choose which you like best.

portable cd player
I am using this in our new car which came with no cd player. I wish it would stay in bluetooth mode. I have to reconnect each time I get into the car which is a pain but the car's issue not the player. It is cumbersome to open to change discs and I do not feel safe doing it while driving. Works well for my audio books.

Great product
I was very impressed with how secure the packaging is that it came in. I put in a CD right away and the sound quality is great. I shook it while it was playing to simulate movement during running and there was no skipping or issues at all! I love that it is rechargable and that I won't have to spend a ton on replacing batteries all the time. I also like that it has a larger display- I mostly ordered this for my mom, who likes to listen to books on CD. After trying it out, I will also use it myself when I exercise as I am old enough to still have a decent sized CD collection.

Bluetooth feature is useless
I bought this product to go in our car, so I needed something that has anti-skip protection and can be charged via USB, and ideally can connect to the car sound system via Bluetooth. This checks most of the boxes and does the job, but I guess I misunderstood what Bluetooth compatibility meant in the product description. This device does not transmit over Bluetooth, it only works as a Bluetooth receiver. I didn’t find that out until I read the instructions, since the product description says it works with Bluetooth headphones or speaker (and therefore should also work with a car’d Bluetooth input). This distinction is pretty ridiculous, especially since I can’t think of any use for a standalone CD player the receive an incoming Bluetooth connection from another device.I can connect via the Aux jack in my car, which still gets the job done, so it’s not really worth it to me to try to return it, although I do feel like I paid a premium for a feature that the product doesn’t offer. Maybe there’s still hope that the instructions are wrong and I can still figure out the Bluetooth connection....

Gueray CD player worked. For seconds...
My new car unfortunately does not have a CD player. I spent a considerable amount of time trying to find a decent portable CD player which is a Bluetooth transmitter to connect with my car's Bluetooth device. The Gueray CD player arrived today, I tested immediately. It arrived with battery partially charged, I placed a previously tested good CD in it according to instructions. But first, the CD player itself: Light plastic construction, the controls felt flimsy but the OPEN button worked. the POWER button is poorly designed, it slips from OFF to ON and then to HOLD but not smooth. Easily skips to HOLD, but it is still manageable. The display has blue-lit buttons, after pressing PLAY it started playing the CD, worked with the earphone. The small plastic volume knob is on the side, moves too lightly, not for satisfactory control. Pressing the EQ and Mode buttons various options showed up on the LCD panel. When I stopped the player it slowed down with a disturbing friction sound, then after pressing PLAY it did not function. I turned off everything, took out the CD (it had no problems), replaced it, turned on the player again, pressed PLAY, blue lights turned on but nothing happened, the player was non responsive at all. I repeated this 3 times, once it started playing, then after a few seconds just stopped. The CD was still spinning loudly. The next 10 minutes trying different buttons, restarting, etc., the weird internal noises coming from the CD player convinced me that this Gueray CD player is hopeless. One more thing: If you are looking for a CD player because your new car does not have one this is definitely not for you: The USER MANUAL (page EN-08) notes: "This CD player is a Bluetooth receiver, not a transmitter." so you cannot transmit information to your car's Bluetooth device.
