Fantastic, economical way to control loads with SmartThings!
I use these in conjunction with Baomain AC Contactor CT1-25 110V 25A 2 Pole Universal Circuit Control to control larger 240V loads. I have had zero issues with these with my SmartThings system. Great value, especially if you have a temperature sensor in the area and need an economical thermostat controlled load.

Nice product
Like the product because it works with my Smart-things hub and Google Assistant. The instructions on Amazon were spot on and easy to get up and running. Cost was reasonable but shipping speed a bit slow.

Excellent Inline smart switch
Excellent Inline smart switch - works well with Alexa plus. The Zigbee in line switch works even when neighbors WIFI interferes with WIFI devices at home. Zigbee is a better wireless control platform.

Low price does not outweigh the shortcomings for me
These switches worked just fine with a Smartthings hub, but I wouldn’t by them, even though the price is right. They really work best with direct Romex wiring; using stranded cable requires installing “pins”, on the wires which they provide, or twisting the wire and tinning it with solder. Either way, outside of Romex, these connections seem a little flaky and I’d be hesitant to use them unless the modules were put inside a metal box which will surely impact Zigbee radio reception.Another issue is that there is no manual override on these modules which is a problem for me. If you have a failure, there’s no way to override the switch – most such switches allow you to give them some sort of voltage input for switching manually. This is a deal breaker for me; I don’t want to have to reset the circuit breaker every time there is a hiccup.Again, they work, but the attractive pricing does not overcome the shortcomings for me.
