Tried to use them on 5/4" which is actually 7/8" to 1 inch, but jaws would not open that far. OK for 3/4" stock, but don't expect them to work on anything thicker.

It works very well for 1/2 inch or thinner wood.

They work very well for the money. I’ve only used them a few times and one of the springs popped out. It can easily be placed back in and it works fine, but it happens often. The other three have never had that happen. I would get them again though, as they hold well and the spring isn’t a deal breaker, especially for the price.

This is a good product for beginners. But soon you’re find it’s limitations with respect to strength, thickness, grip and overall use. I bought two boxes (8 total pieces) and I can see using them for an initial setup for picture frames but will use other jugs for larger pieces.The engineering is cute but requires two hands to operate (defeating the purpose of the tool).

Solid angle support for putting together boxes, frames, etc. They are lightweight and very simple to use. The only drawback is the stiffness of the springs. It's great as far as holding the pieces together, but can be difficult to operate with one hand if you are holding the boards with your other hand.Overall, probably the best set of corner clamps I have used......definitely worth the $.

I was hoping this would be useful for keeping a dog pen in a square shape, but the clamps don't actually tighten down all the way... they stop at about 1/3". Meaning your very thin boards/jobs are out of luck.

Quality is ok, does what it supposed to do, not for bigger projects, only smaller projects.
