Very impressed! Update 6/5/2013
I did a lot of comparing online, knowing I had to replace a crummy Canon I have. I discovered this model and compared it to many others in the same price range and above. I got it yesterday, and I've already taken several movies and pictures and sent one by email from the camera! This particular model/color was $100 LESS than the same product at Walmart, and far exceeds the features of many more expensive cameras. I am not tech-savvy at all, yet I was able to figure this one out with the easy to understand features in the menu. It is VERY friendly to those of us that haven't caught on yet to new technology symbols. There are editing features that you would only find in an online photo editing website. Well worth the money, with sharp, clear pictures, and great streaming video! If you don't mind a white camera, go for it! Highly recommend.UPDATE 4/8/2013: Have taken numerous pictures and a few videos with this fine camera. I have had several past cameras in this price range (not from Amazon) that seemed like toys, in looking back. It is a "Smart" camera that is so easy to use. This camera got knocked off a counter top to a tile floor, and nothing broke. It still works great, like nothing happened. Have always been impressed with Samsung products, and this just reinforces my trust in Samsung quality. Great camera at a great price!UPDATE 4/29/2013: I become more impressed each time I use this camera. I made a movie joining various clips and viewed on HDTV. The quality of the wide screen, HD video is professional looking. My friend couldn't believe what he was seeing! Absolutely amazing! To say the least, I am thrilled with this camera.UPDATW 5/6/2013 After a 4 hour pontoon trip in beautiful Lake Jocassee, South Carolina, I and others with way more expensive cameras are absolutely flabbergasted. There's even software in the camera to get rid of the "jiggles" during bumps in the water. You can edit your video with on screen directions without even connecting to your computer. ALL of the different shades of blue/green/blue-green mountains created a spectacular backdrop to the emerald water, and close ups of flowers and vegetation. I captured all the falls, including the audio sound of he water. The only thing I would change is the zoom, which has a small wheel that zooms too fast... other than that, this is a perfect camera... also great still pictures. You won't regret getting one... it's $100 cheaper on Amazon than Walmart, same model!

Christmas Gift FAIL!!!
I originally bought this camera for myself. It never really worked right. It would shut itself off and there was a rattling noise, as if the lens was loose?? I liked it for the filters and the fact that you can shoot manually. The manual is a real pain to maneuver around. The pictures are not very sharp either, which might have something to do with that rattle...but hey what do you want for that price? It is a relatively cheap "smart" camera.Long story short, my sister really wanted one so, thinking these problems were isolated to my camera, I bought her one for Christmas. Well, I just found out that it never worked from the start. She felt bad bringing it to my attention (I had to ask about the camera to find out!) I wish I had known, I would have exchanged it back in January. The warranty has already expired! What a shame...my sis thought she was getting something really cool but instead she got a box with a broken camera!! Thanks a lot Samsung.

Fun little camera
This is my first Wi-Fi enabled camera, naturally I'm very excited to try it out, below are my findings:1. The unit is quite small, even though the body is completely plastic, it feels surprisingly sold.2. The video recording seemed to have a cap of 20 minutes, which is odd but no big deal.3. The image quality, not surprisingly, leave much to be expected. Though I can leave with that. After all it's a budget camera.4. Here comes the fun part, for the Wi-Fi, it has some sharing options:a)Auto Backup, this is my absolutely favorite feature! With it being properly installed and configured, I can send all the photos and videos from my camera to the PC wirelessly, without the damn old USB cable or flash card reader, how cool is that! The transmitting speed seems to be fine. Beware it only works with Windows.b)Social sharing, I have no problem uploading photos to the Facebook account, however for the video clips, only those with resolution lower than 320x240 and less that 30 seconds can be uploaded, which practically makes this feature useless.c)I can only upload photos/videos to Facebook/YouTube/SkyDrive. For some reason I couldn't make Picasa and Photobucket work. The same story happened to Email.5. Remote Viewfinder allows me to use my smart phone as a remote controller, as well as view finder. It's kinda fun, could be handy for self picture taking. However the feature set is very limited, and the picture resolution is rather low.6. Text inputting is miserable! After scrolling through all those alphabetic/symbols/numbers, my fingers are crying. I also notice it doesn't remember inputting history, which is quite a bummer.Overall a fun toy, it leaves a lot of room for improvement for sure.
