Great Doll! Clueless Company!
Howleen is cute. She's my own personal Nikki Minaj. She's got pink hair! What's not to like??? However, Mattel does not include stands with the "Dance Class" set, and as "Dolls cannot stand alone" is on the box, what's up with that. Mattel stop being evil and include stands with each and every doll and stop wasting plastic and sometimes including those good for nothing skullette shaped "hair brushes" that no one but a clueless four year old would ever use on these dolls hair. The skullette part is cute ( I cut off the tines with a toenail clipper and cut off the handle with a sturdy pair of scissors and make pendants or buttons out of these goodfornuthin "brushes") At any rate, Mattel, stop being such a douche of monopolistic toy maker and either include stands with your dolls, or at least sell the stands separate and make sure that the stands work, because part of the time, when a buyer gets stands, the stand and the base don't even stay together because of bad quality control. So include or sell separate good quality stands Mattel. These dolls you make are cute and nice and we don't want them to get messed up. We are shelling out money to other manufacturers to buy stands for your dolls. You guys are stupid not to sell extra stands. I assume you are in the business to make money?? No??? Well then stop with the gratuitous useless brushes. Instead make Skullette pendants the same size to wear on a bathtub chain, and include or sell separate the stands for God's sake!!!! Also, while you're at it, in any Create A Monster set, include all torsos needed, all forearms and forelegs, etc and all wigs. Or at least sell them separate. And while you're at it, please make some decent street clothing for the boy dolls. No one likes those cheapy ass basketball duds you have for most of them. Make some fashion packs for the dudes. You've got a great toy line here that everyone loves. Maximize your profits by putting out more accessories to buy. And a Monster High storing case would be nice too. Basically, get with it Mattel!!

Howleen Wolf, A Pink-Haird Charmer
It's nice to see that Mattel has listened to fans requests for another Howleen doll. With the difficulties of finding (and the expense of a two pack) of her original doll, it's nice to see that they introduced her in a second (budget) release. First off, the doll is adorable, she comes in with extremely soft hair as she was manufactured in China, and lacks the problematic glue that has haunted Mattel's Indonesian made releases. The articulation for my doll was tight, but not overly so. The plastic used for the hands for this release, however, is quite different. It is much more soft and pliable, so much so that the rubber bands holding her hands in place have left indentions in the mold. The hands seem to be the same material as the shoes she is wearing (which are also adorable), but it's a different quality than what Mattel previously used. I feel that moving forward, these pieces may discolor or stain easier because they seem to lack a "finish" that is normally seen on these dolls. For example, these pieces have a dull finish while previously releases have had a soft gloss finish. In case you are not aware, this line of releases lack stands and brushes. The lack of stands is a disappointment, since the cost of the Monster High budget lines has risen approxiamately $4-5 since they were first released. It is also disappointing if you enjoy collecting the dolls and putting them on display. I hope that Mattel will decide to include them again in future budget lines, but I don't see it happening. Overall, aside from the indentions in her hands (and the potential future worry over discoloration) and the lack of a stand, Dance Class Howleen is simply too adorable to pass up, especially if you missed her the first time around.

Prettiest Version of Howleen
I bought this for my 9 year old daughter who loves to collect the Monster High dolls. She has the Howleen that came in the set with Clawdeen, but I think this version is so much prettier. She looks fresh and young and her outfit is super cute. I got her for under $15, which was a decent price, and she arrived quickly. I actually like that her hair is a completely different color than her other doll. If my daughter wants to, she can pretend this is a different younger sister of Clawdeen's. All of the monster high dolls are highly detailed and just plain fun, but do not pay outrageous money for them!

Yay another Howleen
My 6 year old daughter helped me write this, "This is my first howleen, she is so pretty, and shorter than Clawdeen. I really like her pink poofy hair. Her outfit is really cool, and kind of looks like pajamas, so she can be a sleepover doll too. I don't like her belt, I took it off. I wish she had a stand so I could pose her and make her do dance moves, I just steal stands from my other dolls." I wasn't able to snag an original Howleen/Clawdeen set, so them releasing her alone and in a budget line was great! I am so happy that I was able to give her Clawdeen doll a little sister finally. I love that she is so short. Although I sort of wish the dolls heights were true to the cartoon, Draculaura should be so much shorter as a doll, and the same height as Howleen.

Great price for a great doll!
Exactly as described. My daughter is a huge M.H. Fan and would have me buy every single M.H. item if possible...She arrived in perfect condition. I love her hairstyle and hair color as it is different from all others. Overall, for a less pricier doll for my daughter, very much worth the price for a lot of happiness in return. My daughter loves all her dolls. A wonderful and cheaper addition to the M.H. doll-family growing in our house!!!

I sadly fell into the trap of wanting when she first came out and paid a LOT for her, I've since purchase two more at a much more reasonable price so am happy. She very adaptable and love her articulation and gorgeous soft hair.
