Poor moisture readings.
This moisture tester has been all over the place and is especially poor when sampling cooler grains, not frozen, but around 50 degrees, which is suppose to be well within the range. Definitely not satisfied and would not recommend this product. With a name like dickey john I thought it would be a safe purchase, but it wasn't, at least mine isn't.

Garbage
I had a different brand of tester that that lasted over 20 years. I had this one 2 and it’s garbage. I called Dickey John to troubleshoot, and they told me they consider this model “ non repairable “

I bought one of these a few years ago to check corn and beans. It is very inconsistent you can check the same sample 10 times and get 10 completely different readings it usually varys 2-3 %. I’m to the point where I won’t even use it since I don’t trust it at all.
