does not display 144hz at 1080, i have red pixels on my 144hz monitor when placing me display to 144. when i drop the hz to 120 the red pixels go away. this cable is not what your looking for if your a PC gamer looking to get 144 fps from you monitor. go with a different cable. lesson learned.

The images displayed in my screen looked awful. They had this greenish effect on cold colors, and the warm colors look exaggerated so even yellows looked intensely red. I am saying all this after changing the settings around a lot. The image quality was the same as the hdmi and displayport cables that came with my monitor, but with the awful color effect I mentioned in the beginning. 4k videos look exactly the same, and so do lower quality videos. I seriously do no understand the other reviews that made me think this cable was any different from the rest. 1 star because I can't rate it lower.

I bought the cable to use with my 1440p 144hz monitor and it cannot display 144hz and is capped at 60hz. This is not a true DP 1.4 cable.

It's a good quality cable, however it doesn't have a locking mechanism to hold the cable in place. If you're using a full motion adjustable gas spring desk mount for single/dual monitors, this cable might not be what you're looking for. Every time you move or rotate the monitor, this cable will slide right out of the display port.... like me you'll need a display port cable with a locking mechanism.

I'd buy again. Not only do they perform as expected but these cables have a really nice look to them. Great thickness, nylon braiding, and it even comes with the Velcro cable tie. This cable has it all. It's decently priced for what you get. I got 2 different lengths and the quality on them look identical. I prefer DP over HDMI as they have a few advantages over HDMI. Overall I'm very happy with these and I may get a few more because it's always nice to have a spare.

Was getting some frame stutter on a 4k monitor using the recommended cable with a 2080 super rig and since adding this cable there is noticeable difference on how games play now. Red Dead Redemption 2 is smooth on Ultra, PUBG plays over 60hz but to be fair I dont have all settings at ultra but rather average higher fps. Anno 1800 4k highest settings had minimal difference as it was playing nicely from the start.

Overall, I am happy with my purchase. I needed a DP cable for my 4K 60hz monitor and this does the job. I noticed, however, that it is advertised as a 1.4 DP; which should allow HDR, but once plugged in the HDR setting for the monitor is greyed out and only reappears when I switch my display to my HDMI cable but don't like it as it's capped at 30hz. So for gaming, I use the DP; and for movies, I switch over to the HDMI as going past 30hz for movies/ Shows doesn't do anything.

I can't talk about quality because I don't use my monitor for movies and videos, I use it mostly for CAD, documents and browse the internet in search of relevant info form my projects.I bought it to place this cable in the back of my monitor since my PC its a Dell OptiPlex Micro PC mounted on a VESA mount behind the monitor, I needed a short and flexible DP cable and it worked very well.
