Amazing product!!The lingering smells in your home are cause by bacteria 🦠 this sanitizing light will definitely fix your nasty problem. I love smell of clean in the air after is done it’s job. I even keep my ceiling fans going in the process. I’m grateful and proud of my self for taking actions on keeping my family safe and germs out. Happy camper here.

Imho Excellent value for the money- I must admit it was a tad shorter than its photos appear.Its roughly 18” (whereas I thought it was closer to a bit over two feet🤷🏼‍♀️judging from photos-but perhaps I missed its listed measurements?) Regardless, it has an attractive sturdy white plastic base roughly 5”x 5” x2”thick & the top is roughly 5”x5”x 3/4in.thick with 4 metal rods attaching top & bottom, with the UV lights (obviously “exposed”) but placed more in the center of the unit (likely) in order to protect the glass bulbs from accidentally breaking or being touched by bare hands (as Ive read one should not do without proper gloves) IMHO it works like a charm- (however I do not have the scientific equipment to “measure” the UV light output or Ozone gas but the odor of the Ozone gas is unmistakable & pretty strong prior to venting, therefore I can only assume its working as described🤷🏼‍♀️) BUT be advised you MUST READ INSTRUCTIONS THOROUGHLY to safely use an ozone/UV-combo-unit. I’ve read UV lights w/ozone are very HARMFUL if directly exposed to HUMANS, PETS, PLANTS, ANIMALS etc! All living things (aforementioned & others) must be safely removed from any room being treated and the treated room must be thoroughly ventilated after auto-shut-off for about 60+ min. before safely re-entering! (I’d also suggest removing any medications ie: antibiotics, probiotic etc. as they’re sensitive to sunlight in general, so you don’t want to render them ineffective..) I use my unit while we’re out of the house, & I don’t re-enter treated area until unit turns off & the windows have all been opened to thoroughly ventilate area for 60-90minutes, In addition I also actually run two very powerful UV HEPA Filtration standing tower systems in the house during ventilation period while we are out to ensure it’s safe for my family & pets to return. Basically I make sure there’s relatively zero “ozone-smell” anywhere in the house especially the treated room. Ive also found it useful to use in 1-room of my home where several first responders who live here can undress after work, leaving their shoes, ID’s, caps, belts, (and anything that cannot be washed in a washing machine) left in that room (ie: garage or similar) & use the unit to disinfect those items for 15-30min overnight & they’re safely vented by morning & sterilized. (A “tip” I read from another self responder using these units)... I also purchased a smaller unit without the ozone feature for routine use in tiny (6’x6’) areas (like a small bathroom) or to drop into my sealed pocketbook for an auto timed 15min. use which requires ZERO ventilation period as there is no ozone involved. however NEVER stare directly into a UV Steri-lamp nor expose a UV steri-light to humans, pets, plants etc.- as I’ve read it is still unsafe & can cause serious harm if not used properly. (ie: use in a room closed off to ppl, pets, plants etc. while it’s lit & on for the short time period necessary to be effective.) READ ALL DIRECTIONS THOROUGHLY. When used properly (imho) it’s an excellent addition to safeguard my home & items from dangerous pathogens. *I AM NOT A SCIENTIST, I HAVE ZERO LEGAL LICENSE TO DISSEMINATE OR DISCUSS HEALTHCARE, DISEASES, OSHA-LAW, SAFETY OR ELECTRONIC-DEVICES OF ANYKIND. The over all size / height is significantly less than the one I replaced. The timer selection bulb doesn’t illuminate.

guess the product does what it is supposed to do. The instructions are very vague. Don't know what setting to use in regards to the room size. The remote worked three times. For a device that takes care and precautions there should be a booklet of instructions. Furthermore, could not find instructions to download. Sent e-mail to vendor but never got a response.

No battery for remote - odd size 23A, so not easy to find - it should be included!

I would like to say that the lamp absolutely works. There have been comments as I'm sure you have read already, that there is a strong odor after the lamp has been used. That is true, however. Don't be concerne about the odor, just make sure that the room is ventilated after the lamp is used.I'd like to tell you is that you absolutely must make sure that you are nowhere in the room at all while the lamp is in operation. The light is so strong that in my ignorance, I happened to be in the room for a few minutes putting some things away. And when I say a few minutes I mean only two. My eyes were uncovered at this time.Later on that evening, about eight hours after my exposure, my eyes swelled shut and we're tearing. I felt as though there were small shards of glass and sand in my eyes, and they were tearing as if I were a crying infant. I later discovered that the condition I mildly was suffering from is called photokeratitis - this is something you definitely do not want to experience. I recovered 4 to 5 hours after the appearance of the symptoms... After only two minutes of exposure. I can only imagine how much worse it would be had I had any exposure longer than that.I noted that there was a another user who had the same problem, however he didn't say exactly what he did and didn't give any information other than his eyes got burnt. It makes sense not to be in the room while the lamp is on. That's common sense. What's not so common is that even passing through the room leaves you to risk.So, my final review is this. While I cannot speak to the scientific evidence of whether or not the lamp works at killing microbes, empirical evidence shows that the lamp is working due to the strong smell in the room of 03 (which is scientifically known to kill microbes). And therefore, make sure you are nowhere near the lamp when it's on. Even if you have to pass through the room, either shut the lamp off with the remote or, wait untit shuts down.
