Pretty outstanding but not flawless
This is one of the most helpful tools I've ever had for baby. Wish I had this for my other formula making needs. Absolute lifesaver for middle of the night feedings when coherency is at a minimum. With the push of a button and a few seconds, we are able to return quickly to satisfy our red-faced, hollering bundle of joy. I like to tell him stories of how his sister had to wait far longer for the bottle warmer, overheating and starting over, and the sometimes chunk-filled bottles that needed serious arm muscle to work out. I tell him how the Brezza makes perfect temperature, well-blended insta-bottles. He shows his appreciation by sucking each one down nearly as fast as they were made. The machine itself is easy to set up and employ. It cleans up easily but even on my most careful days I do make a small, powdery mess around the machine and the formula container. A quick wipe with a damp paper towel or cloth on the top and around the outside is all you should need to do. The formula dispenser/container on top also washes up easily but has many small spaces that hold water. Dry thoroughly, formula will cake up in these tiny nooks with even a little moisture. It does have a couple little things that need to be watched and worked with to keep its convenience. The dispenser funnel asks to be cleaned every 4th bottle. Most times it's pretty clean but that 2am feeding when you can't see, snd it's slightly more challenging to both remember to do it and actually do it. I try to work around it by cleaning it after the last late night bottle so I can make it through to the next morning. The formula dispenser/container on top needs to be cleaned and dried well at the dispensing hole. I found that every other day is sufficient but it's kind of a pain to have to empty it, wash and thoroughly dry it before I can use it again. Formula tends to cling to container and spills out when removing and emptying it for cleaning. I'm sure that's operator error in some way but I'm pretty meticulous and find it a little wasteful with the frequency it needs to be emptied/cleaned. The water reservoir holds enough that it only needs to be refilled once, maybe twice a day. I've learned to lift just the front to refill it so the condensation doesn't spill all over the counter and machine. Kind of wish it had the same water-heating method as my Keurig but that's mostly irrelevant. In short, if you take care if it, it will take care of you. I recommend this to this who need to formula feed more than a few times a day. In our first month it's already worth its price. Almost didn't buy it because I planned to breastfeed but ran into a couple bumps that prevented it from happening at all. I had to spend a week in the hospital after an emergency surgery, and my mother in law had to take care of our newborn for most of that week. She loved and appreciated the Brezza even thought first she had her reservations about my purchase. May it serve you as well as it has served us :)

We love it!
My husband & I have been using this machine for a little over a week now (our little one was born about 2 weeks ago), and so far we love it! It's very easy to use, super quick, and a lifesaver for preparing formula - especially during middle-of-the-night feedings! We use spring water (like, $1 per gallon at the supermarket) to fill the water reservoir tank, just to be on the safe side. We also refer to it as the 'Baby Keurig' (lol), since it's VERY similar to that machine. The formula comes out at the 'perfect' temperature - not too hot, not too cold. I WILL stress that one needs to FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS when using it. This isn't hard to do, but it *IS* very important. Clean the removable machine parts before you use the machine for the 1st time (most - not all! - of which you can just put in your dishwasher), and (according to the directions) once a month clean the parts again. Make sure the number setting on the orange wheel (inside the machine's powder container) is on the correct setting, according to which formula brand you're using. The company's website has a PDF of all kinds of formula brands and which number setting you should be using for them (including store brands!). At least once a day OR after every 4 bottles prepared with the machine, you should be wiping down the area under the funnel where the formula comes out, just to make sure there's no caked-on formula stuck there. ...This takes less than 30 seconds to do (less than 10, even - you can just use a napkin or paper towel if you want), so there's really no excuse for not doing it. Very simple. There's even a little symbol on the machine that lights up every so often to remind you to do this. Also, make sure the water level & the powder formula level stay higher than the 'Min' and lower than the 'Max' levels indicated on the respective containers. If you do these things, you should (ideally) have no problems with the machine. Like I said before - we haven't been using this machine long, but are very, VERY glad we purchased it. We're 1st time parents, and the Baby Brezza has saved us quite a bit of time and effort with feeding time! Even my husband (who - as much as he loves our son - is not a big 'baby guy') has no problems or trouble using this machine! I highly recommend it to anyone & everyone who decides to use baby formula - it's a total game changer!

Our second one is still working fine but the scum of formula that builds up is ...
First machine we got was faulty. Baby brezza customer service was no help at all. Retuned the machine, it was indeed deemed faulty. This machine requires a lot of cleaning and matinance. There's a gross amount of scum that builds up around the opening where the formula is despensed. It's unsanitary and makes the machine malfunction. My husband and I both have carefully read over the instruction booklet and have followed every step. Some of the negative reviews could possibly be from user error, I suppose, but we did indeed get a faulty machine the first time. Our second one is still working fine but the scum of formula that builds up is what really worries me for numerous different reasons. Correct function of the machine dispensing formula, sanitary reasons, etc. I have included a picture of what the "build up" looks like just 8 hours after very throughly cleaning it. We use similac and I'm not sure if it's just similac that does this or all formulas. It's not easy to get off either. You cannot "wash" and get the machine wet. We use food grade wipes like recommended, but it's a pain to get it all off. Once formula gets wet it goes spoiled shortly after. I just don't see our current machine lasting very long after our experience with the last one. It is nice to use when you're not worring about cleaning the denpenser on the machine and clearing the removable spout every other time. It's just one more thing to clean added on to bottle washing. Maybe to some these things aren't a big deal but with a small baby screaming for her bottle, and then having flashing lights that you need to clean your machine 24/7 it gets old. If you get this machine make SURE you follow the instructions to EVERYTHING, one little mistake messes up the whole machine. You have to look up the formula number of baby brezza and make sure you set it to the correct setting, don't over or under fill the water and formula tank, clean both the machine despenser area and the removable spout all the time and make sure the tray attached doesn't have liquid in it, just to name a few things. You make one mistake and nothing works. Update: completely stopped using the machine. More of a hassle to clean and care for than pre-filling bottles with filtered water and putting in a bottle warmer!

Works as advertised, IF YOU READ THE DIRECTIONS, total luxury but worth every penny.
Verdict: WE LOVE THIS MACHINE. At first, we almost didn't buy it because of the negative reviews on here. There are several people however, who have pointed out, that it is a necessity to READ and FOLLOW the directions when setting up the machine. We set the machine up per instructions, had to "reboot" once because the water tank said it was still heating. The wheel for the formula setting you need has to be set and figured out and then it's just a 1-2-3 and you have a perfect bottle. It's been a heaven sent, especially at 2 am in the morning when none of us can see straight. It's also keeping baby entertained as he figured right out - that thing makes my bottle so I don't have to cry anymore. Also helpful when you have grandma's, grandpa's or other family over and just tell them to put the bottle underneath and push the button. Voila..! Let's face it this is not a necessity and there is some daily maintenance such as funnel cleaning and rubbing a toothpick underneath where the formula is dispensed. That's it and in turn it will take seconds for your next nightly bottle. We've been joking that this is one of the coolest inventions and that we're looking for the real "Keurig" version of this with the little formula pods. Everyone that has seen it says the same thing: Very cool. Update 6/30/2016: We have since given this machine to a household with a newborn. Like us there were initial start up problems with the machine, almost prompting the new owners to give up. After following all instructions, it worked just fine. So I say it again: it's important to read the instructions carefully before giving up on this totally awesome machine. Also, I saw the competition has one that heats the water "on demand" but then in turn takes a long time to make a bottle - not great when you have a hungry and crying baby in your arms. And remember use only distilled water so you don't end up with mold problems. When we decommissioned our Baby Brezza we followed the instructions to empty the pump and also cleaned every part, and even after one year of use we found no mold anywhere. Highly recommend it!

Takes some tinkering, but it's good.
Ok. There are plenty of reviews on here talking about how good it is or how bad it is. There may be different lots of this item shipping with different specs or something, I don't know. But I will give you my experience and tell you why I like it and am not returning it even though it didn't really work right out of the box. So we just had twins. Making bottles is a real pain at 3 in the morning, especially when you have to make two. I saw this thing and I thought it would be a life saver. Well, it makes bottles in seconds. That part they didn't lie about. I read the reviews where people talked about how it didn't push out enough formula and their babies were spitting up or crying all the time. Then I read the ones where people said they had no issues and it was likely the customers not following the directions and that's why the bottles weren't coming out right. I'm here to set the story straight. This thing doesn't make bottles like it should according to the directions, but I'll explain. We used this thing for close to a week and one of our babies was spitting up a lot. Like every feeding she was spitting up most of her bottle. The other baby was crying all the time. I started thinking about it and I thought I would do a little experiment. I saw another guy did this, but I got completely different results. Here's what I did: I made a bottle by hand. Scooped the powder myself and added my own water. I had do to it a little different than I normally do though, because the machine adds 2oz of water and then formula on top of it so it always comes out more than 2oz. Normally, when I make a bottle, I add the formula and then add water up to the 2 oz mark. Anyway, I weighed the bottle empty, then weighed it with the water and formula. I did it for the machine and when I handmade the bottles. It turns out, the machine bottles were about 2.5 grams short of formula. That's not really a lot, but when you're only talking about 2oz of water, it can really effect the consistency and the amount of overall formula the baby is getting. Basically, the babies were drinking too much water and not enough formula. The good news, however, is that it was a relatively easy fix. All I had to do was change the wheel in the hopper. I was using Enfamil Gentlease and it said to use wheel 5, but that obviously wasn't cutting it. So I tried 4 and that wasn't quite enough and then I did 3. Wheel 3 is making bottles pretty much right on where I was hand making them. So that's the wheel I'm using now. We'll see how the babies do now, but I'm sure with the extra formula, things will turn around. I saw one lady said she had to pull out parts from the hopper and it ruined all her formula, but that's not the case. Just pull the oranges pieces out and push all your formula through the funnel into a cup or something. Then you can just pour it back in. So, overall, yes this is a good product. It's still saving time by mixing and heating the bottles all at once. It really makes night time feedings go a lot faster when all you have to do is push a button and you have a bottle. You just might have to experiment with the wheels until it gives you the consistency you're wanting. It might work differently for other formulas as well, so this might not be a solution for everyone. I still think if you're looking for a good bottle maker, this is it. You just have to tinker with it a little bit.

I LOVE this machine.
This is one of the best baby purchases I have made for my twin boys. Twins are a LOT of work and anything that can save a little time for my wife and I is fantastic. I initially saw this in a store before my boys were born and remember thinking what a stupid idea it was. How lazy can people be that they can't put a little powder in a bottle and shake it up? Flash forward to the babies being born and making 2 bottles every 2 1/2 to 3 hours, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and I drastically changed my tune. I was skeptical that it would work well but I gave it a shot and it really does everything it says it does. Put water and formula in, select how many ounces and push the button. In about 20 seconds you have a full, warm bottle of formula. When the formula is dispensed, it sends the water down the funnel in a swirling motion, and sprinkles the formula as it is swirling down to mix it, then for the last bit of water no formula comes out essentially rinsing itself and doesn't leave formula in the funnel to get crusty. It comes out mostly mixed together, but I give it a shake or two just in case. Maintenance consists of this: -Once a day take the funnel out and wash it. -Once a day, when you take the funnel off, wipe the part where the formula is dispensed as some formula will accumulate there. -Once a month take all the pieces out and wash them. The daily maintenance takes less than 2 minutes and monthly takes about 20 minutes of work and a couple of hours to let everything dry. I'll also address some complaints that I read in other reviews that almost made me not want to get it. -DISPENSING MORE FORMULA THAN THE AMOUNT YOU SELECT: It does, and it should. The directions on formula say that if you are going to make 4oz, for instance, you put 4 ounces of water in a bottle and then put the formula in on top of that. So you do end up with more than 4oz total in the bottle. I'm guessing the people complaining about that just weren't following the instructions on the formula to begin with and were putting the powder in first and then topping it off with water until it reaches the number of ounces they want. -MACHINE GETTING CLOGGED: I've used it for more than a month now with twins and have not had any issues. Possibly the problem was not wiping the dried formula off every day like the directions say to? There is always a little bit of dry stuff at the opening when I wipe it daily and I'm sure if it wasn't wiped it would eventually cause a problem, or possibly they just didn't put it together correctly or had a defective unit or something. No moisture has ever gotten in the actual formula hopper for me, as this is sealed with a silicon flap when formula isn't being dispensed. (Keep in mind that I put through twice the normal amount of formula and still just do the same daily maintenance and haven't had a problem). FORMULA NOT THICK ENOUGH: I followed all the instructions and set it according for the formula I was using and haven't had an issue. I did make a bottle manually and then one with the machine at first and they both seemed the same consistency. I even tasted them and they both seemed the same (spoiler alert: formula tastes kind of gross). One thing I would recommend is check the companies website for the most current settings. Some of them were different than the ones on the included sheet and their site had the most updated settings. I don't know if they were just tweeking them to be more accurate or they did that due to a change in the formula composition or something. MY SUGGESTIONS IF YOU BUY ONE: -Read all the instructions when setting it up and make sure the parts are completely dry after you wash them before putting them in and using the machine. -Go to the manufacturers site for the formula setting information as it is more up to date than the included sheet. -Clean the funnel and wipe the opening with a dry cloth daily. Skipping that seems like asking for trouble to me.

It's definitely worth the expense...
I've been using the Baby Brezza for about 3 months now and I think it's awesome. There are several high profile negative reviews out there, and I'm sure some are valid but the majority are unfounded or posted by misinformed individuals. One in particular states that the unit measured out six times the specified amount of powder. Though the response from the manufacturer was poorly executed they were correct in their position that it is not physically possible for this to happen if the unit is put together correctly. There is a disc that has a hole that is sized according to the recommendations for the formula that you're using and locked in place. The disk rotates under a "wiper blade" that levels the powder within that hole immediately prior to dropping the powder into the bottle. The disk rotates one time for a 2 oz bottle, 2 times for a 4 oz bottle, etc. It is a positive displacement metering system that is very reliable... when assembled correctly. I've only encountered one negative issue, which almost made me return the unit within the first week. For some unknown reason the unit wouldn't dispense anything when I pressed the start button. The pump would make noises like it was working but the disc wouldn't spin and water would not dispense. The manual says nothing about troubleshooting this issue and online information is spotty, at best, but I found the remedy after much searching and here it is: Simply press and hold the "Ounce", "Start", and "Stop" buttons for several seconds until powder and water are dispensed. Then, discard the mixture and you're now ready to mix up a fresh bottle. We've had to use that procedure twice to reset the unit. It's annoying but easy enough to do. It's also a very small inconvenience compared to what you're getting out of it. Sure, dumping a few scoops of powder into some water seems easy enough, but at 3am with a screaming infant it's so awesome to be able to simply press a button and handle the situation. Update 12/2/2018: It's been 10 months and still going strong. We haven't had to use the reset procedure since I wrote the first review. My guess is that the pump lost its prime due to an air pocket and, since we've kept it full, it hasn't lost its prime. I'm sure if I let it dry out I might have to reprime it at some point (e.g. after storing it for the next kid).

Baby Brezza disappointing Customer Service - Better second time around
***UPDATE**** Since I wrote the review below I wanted to update. I decided on a whim to take this thing apart and see what was going on. Only getting 5 months of use seemed absurd especially when we were so careful with the cleaning. Not sure what happened but i suspect the safety switch came out. I actually reached back out to baby brezza as I wasn't sure what the piece was. Since it just kind of fell out when took the black bottom off. They were able to confirm what the piece was and where to put it back. Bottom line is after opening it up and that piece "falling out" I put it back in and it started working. Not sure why but now is measuring water fine bottles look good. I suspect that safety switch was tripped or something. As a result raising to 3 stars from 1 star because I can use it again. I couldn't give this more stars because my first customer service experience was still terrible but second time around they were more helpful. But only because I had done all the work to fix it.... Still a cool product. not at 179.00 but for the current amazon price of 129.00 not bad deal..***UPDATED*** I purchased this in 2014 and used it for 5 months with my first child. For the most part it worked as advertised and I definitely promoted this as game changer to friends on making bottled. For me it was the K cup of bottle making... Fast Forward to baby number 2. Started formula feeding and ready to get the brezza out this month Sept 2016. And of course it doesn't work. Called Baby Brezza and they said this issue cannot be repaired and that I was out of the 1 year warranty. The best they could offer was 15% discount on the MSRP of 179.00. I loved this at the start but annoyed I only got 5 months out of it and no remediation to fix it. Especially when we took the care to cleaned it and packed it away neatly separating all the pieces. Will not be buying a second one. I will look for another brand and disappointed with the overall customer service.

Hands down, this is the best "luxury"-nay, "essential" nursery purchase for formula feeding
I cannot say enough about this machine!!! As a first time mom who was unable to breastfeed, I felt that this was truly a life saver, and it preserved my sanity. Being a new, first time parent is stressful enough, but add the upset and stress of realizing you will now be exclusively formula feeding and fumbling with bottle paraphernalia at all hours of the night while in zombie mode, and you have a very frustrating situation. That being said, this machine alleviated so much of that frustration. It is AMAZING!! We've been using it 5+ times a day for 10 months, and it's still going strong. We just went on vacation for a week, and man, did we miss it! We were able to put it right on the dresser in the nursery because it only requires an electrical outlet. Why is this so great? We were able to make a perfectly mixed, perfectly warm bottle of formula with no bubbles in less than 30 seconds, one-handed while we snuggled, rocked, soothed, or changed our baby because the machine was within arm's reach of the crib, change table and nursing chair. This was no coincidence. Lol Literally pushing one button and you instantly have a bottle ready to go tremendously reduced our stress, and that of our baby, because we could focus on him instead of juggling a bunch of bottle making stuff. The only drawback is that it's a bit noisy when it's prepping the bottle, so if you have your sleepy/sleeping baby in the vacinity, it might wake him/her up. The heating element "whooshes" like white noise approximately every 20 minutes for a few seconds, but it's rarely noticed by our little guy unless he's teetering I the edge of sleep/wakefulness. A couple of tips for optimal usage: -We used the Kirkland Omega+ formula from Costco (Canadian), and it never gets jammed in the hopper or mixes clumpy like some other formulas. Our little guy has been very successful on this one, and it's half the price of the Similac Pink formula, which is apparenty the same formulation. I believe it's setting #6 on the scoop size dial, but if you call Baby Brezza's customer service line, they can verify the correct setting, as it's somewhat ambiguous in their "catch all" scoop size guide. -Use distilled or boiled water to reduce calcification and buildup in the water reservoir. -Don't let the formula powder level in the hopper drop below the orange cogs (wheels). The formula will not mix to the right consistency if the hopper is either too low, or too tightly packed. -Adjust the bottle platform to the height of your bottle so that the neck of the bottle JUST fits under the spout. If it's too low, it will splatter. -We found it really convenient to have at least 2 bottles in rotation (we put a Boon Grass drying rack beside the machine and keep the spare bottles and nipples, etc. right beside the machine), with one clean bottle waiting under the spout so that you literally just have to hit one button when you need a bottle...because you will need it IMMEDIATELY some times! Lol If you are on the fence about this product, or if you are wondering if it's worth the price, trust me. It's 100% worth every single penny.

Baby Brezza is a must buy product
Our daughter just had triplets. She has a 4 year old and when we first heard about the Baby Brezza her reaction was no, not necessary. People at work told me to go and buy the Baby Brezza that is was an incredible time saver. It is more than that, IT IS A VITAL APPLIANCE in the house now. We bought it at Christmas, the triplets were 10 weeks old. It is now February and the Baby Brezza is used all day, every day. Even though our daughter is pumping and breast feeding it is fair to say that feeding 3 infants requires more than she can supply. This is an incredibly easy machine to use, looks great on the counter in the kitchen, cleans very easily, is noiseless, and makes perfectly warmed formula within seconds. One of the many relatives who comes regularly to help with the babies was admiring it one evening and pensively said out-loud, "do you think we can use it for hot chocolate when the babies stop drinking formula?". Congratulations Baby Brezza, this is a really good quality product and has saved our daughter many hours of work already. We'll let you know how the hot chocolate thing works out in about 2 years time!

great machine. Worth every penny
I use it since 2 months , and this machine is a life saver. Really easy to clean, 2 minutes. Make the perfect bottle every time. I kept the box so it's easy to bring it on vacation. Also the company have a great customer service Update 4 month later We start using this machine with nestle good start formula, Didn't had too much problem with it, But the formula stick more on the machine than the walmart parent's choice formula. We are using this machine since about 4 months and the only trouble was the first day and it was my fault . We buy distilled from walmart at 97 cent a gallon. We use dr brown bottle and our baby never spill , no colic and almost no gas. I guess the one who have some trouble with it didn't set the machine properly, use wrong number for the formula. I clean the machine once a week, no clogging or sticky powder with the parent choice formula. The quantity is always the same, no clogging, .... perfect every time

This is the BEST item we bought when my husband and I found ...
TRUST ME! This is the BEST item we bought when my husband and I found out we were having a baby! It is worth every penny, when we need a bottle it is (NOT exaggerating) ready in less than a minute (and saying it takes a minute is dramatic to, it is less than that) with the perfect amount and temperature. BUY THIS PRODUCT! At 2 AM do you honestly want to have a kid screaming at your face while you have one free hand, boiling water, waiting for it to cool, measuring formula, warming the formula, waiting for it to cool then testing it then FINALLY feeding your kid?! Then times that by 2 or 3 times a night OR more. Then after all that time put them down again and hoping they fall back asleep. While you are walking around like a zombie? NO THANK YOU. Couple tips, Clean the removable nozzle part EVERYDAY so there is no build up and you get the right ratio of formula to water. Keep the machine in the room your baby is in, you are already in there anyways and baby is up (this shaves off more time to and gives you back counter space in your kitchen).
