Q: I am looking for pads to remove nail polish without leaving link behind. Do these pads leave any link or fibers behind? I appreciate your feedback!!

I did not use them for removing nail polish. I have used Equate nail polish remover pads from Walmart that did a good job.

Q: does it fall apart easily

These cotton pads are durable. The layers easily pull apart when you want them to and this is how I use them. I moisten the lpad, apply lotion and then pull the layers apart and apply them to my face for a quick 5 minute facial; but the pads are durable and do not fall apart.
