Squeaky and snappy texture, perfect spice level for snacking, and a load of oil and spices to make for a unique snack for an American pallet. I can believe it's not meat, but it's hard to wrap my head around how it's so squeaky without being cheese. It squeaks when you bite into it like a mozzarella or some well chewed gum. One might liken it to biting into craft foam, if craft foam was edible and delicious.

Did not grow up with this. We were poorer. So I have always wanted to try it. Saw the good reviews and had high expectations. They were not spicy, very very very greasy and did not give me an enjoyable experience. Mind you, I eat jelly fish, chicken feet, thousand year old egg and other so called weird Chinese food and I enjoy dearly. Trust me, i was born and raised in the village and these are not good.

These are really tasty snacks, but they taste pretty sweet, a likely indicator of a large amount of sugar used in productions.
