DCT TDC Small Brass Funnel

This was used to make a drop tube for Black PowderI easily attached a 13/32 tube to this funnel.

I soldered this funnel to a 36" X 3/8" piece of brass tubing to make a loading tube for black powder rifles. This allows the powder to drop at the breech instead of from the muzzle so it doesn't stick to the sides of the barrel on the way in. Aside from my unsightly soldering job it was perfect for my application. It sits a few millimeters inside the tubing giving just enough surface area to get a good bond.

I was looking for a funnel to refill my loader. The dimensions listed are not correct. The part I’d only <1.5 inch diameter and less than .75 inches high.

Another winner by Tedd Cash!!With the spout being only opening on my horn for filling, this fills the bill. Brass stays traditional, while being a non-conductor of static electricity (a problem with some plastics) as well as non-sparking. Neither is good for handling black powder.Debating on drilling a hole for a bit of lacing to hang it from the horn strap, but this is small, light, and handy enough to carry in bag or pocket until needed (as a muzzle funnel possibly).
