Beautiful Tea Pot
This tea pot holds more than enough tea for several people and allows you to watch beautiful blooms of tea (if you're so inclined) or monitor the brewing of regular loose tea with ease. The trivet is quite convenient and the whole thing is graceful. As an added bonus, the spout doesn't drip!

Handle doesn't allow room for lid
I had a teapot very similar this that I bought on a different website. After a number of years it broke and I replaced it with this. My old teapot came with the handle attached; this one didn't. The handle is shaped into a "U", and must be attached into the glass "loops". The handle is too tightly molded into the U, but probably needs to be in order to attach it. But the handle sides squeeze the room available for the lid and glass infuser. They can't sit solidly on the teapot. If I lift the teapot to pour the tea, the lid will fall off. I have to remember to take off the lid first, or I will break it. The handle needs to be attached at the factory, so if attaching it breaks anything, the risk doesn't pass to the purchaser. They can put it on so it sits looser on the pot.

Got this yesterday. This came without the bamboo handle ...
Got this yesterday. This came without the bamboo handle... I can't even use it. Additionally, this was supposed to be a Mother's Day gift for tomorrow...

I love this teapot!!
I received this beautiful little teapot as a Christmas gift from my boyfriend along with a variety of Teaposy flowering teas. I've been wanting a high-end glass teapot for a long time, and this suprisingly afordable teapot was exactly what I was looking for!!I love the zen-look of the bamboo handle and platform. The glass strainer works very well to keep loose tea and renegade floaties from the flowering teas inside the pot and out of your cup! The shape of the pot is actually a lot "squattier" than it appears in the photo here on Amazon, but it's still suitable watching flowering teas blossom. The glass seems very delicate, but it's held up very well to my clumsiness! I don't use it every day, but I do use it 2 or 3 times a week. I'm always sure to rinse it out thoroughly after each use so as not to risk staining the glass. To me, it seems likely that it would stain if the tea sat for too long.I give it 5 stars for looks, 4 1/2 stars for function, and 5 stars for price!BTW...Teaposy brand flowering teas are awesome! They cost nearly twice as much as Numi flowering tea, but they're worth it. Teaposy teas have richer, more distinct flavor and they're prettier after blossoming.

Gorgeous, but far from perfect.
I bought this teapot just before my second son was born (a year and a half ago) so that I would have an "everyday" pot and not have to use one from my collections. It's worked really well for that, except for two things: a friend (not used to drinking tea) was pouring and dropped the lid. The ball on top broke off easily, and could never be fixed. I contacted the company to see if I could purchase a replacement lid, and they would never talk to me. Amazon is probably better; if I'd known, I would have bought through them. The spout also chipped within days. The biggest problem I'm having right now is the strainer. The slits in the bottom are so few and thin that more powdery teas (like the spices in a loose Chai) clog it 100% of the time. I've resorted to brewing loose in the pot, then straining through cheesecloth into my mug. Even regular full-leaf tea can block it, and I keep a spatula nearby to run around the inside of the strainer and move the leaves out of the way.I love the size--it's hard to find something pretty this large--and I absolutely adore the glass, but I am looking for another pot this time.

Beautiful but fragile
My roommate bought me this teapot for Christmas a while back and the pot itself has weathered rather well. I've even accidentally banged it against the faucet or dishes in the sink but it has yet to break. The strainer on the other hand met its demise drying on the kitchen table and my other roommate tipped it over and it cracked and a few bits of the lip broke off. My only qualms with this is that Teaposy doesn't sell replacement strainers...at least not that I have found. Thus my only options would be to buy a new set or use metal strainers but then that defeats the point of having a glass teapot for flowering teas.
