Get it. It’s a no brainer. Fun quick topics you can cover on your lunch break or one a night while studying for boards.

Bought this in school; really really benefited from the concise and easy to read format. Excellent for refreshing on topics and preparation for oral boards. Still use it as a refresher in active practice. This is my #1 recommendation to SRNAs and residents after the mighty Millers, Barash, and M&M.

If you're an anesthesia student, you simply can't afford to miss out on this one! The book is incredibly well-written, with an excellent organization that makes it easy to understand. I've found myself reaching for it time and time again, and I'm sure you will too!

Very simplified and well written

Anesthesia Secrets is my go to book for the beginning of CA1. It tells you all of the key information you really need to know for each topic. Nearly all topics are covered. Obviously you can spend many hours reading any one of countless topics, but when you're starting out, that simply isn't an option. You need to know the key things for all things very quickly. Secrets helps me to do that. When I was previously studying ENT, the Secrets version of that was also fantastic. Can't recommend this series highly enough.

Helped a lot with the basics during fourth year elective in medical school!

Great resource for medical and CRNA students as well as junior residents. It covers all the important aspects of anesthesia and resuscitation. Explanations of the physiological processes using basic sciences are very helpful and the material is up to date with the latest research and publications.
