Do a test patch and adjust your technique
After a couple of test runs, we found mixing the glitter directly into the grout wasn't the effect we wanted. We decided to do the initial grouting, glitter free, and then work the glitter into the the grout after the last sponging. (I used a make up kabuki brush to dab the glitter from a bowl into the grout) We let it set over night, gave the tile a nice buff and the glitter was perfect. My picture doesn't do the end result justice!

It saves lives...!!
Used your purple glitter yesterday after a very long and arduous bathroom remodel...on black granite floor. Charcoal grout with purple glitter...24 hours.. owner says she wasn't that happy with her floor choice...until the purple glitter made it sizzle!! Matches rich purple wall color... black granite picks up purple cast from walls...sparkles...beautiful...My friend is practically homicidal over a very small but very botched remodel beginning 6 months ago... going on 4th contractor...a plumber this time... hoping he can bring it home with new shower/tub and vanity w/vessel sink....my friend has been so down and depressed about all the screw ups.. stealing..lazy, incompetent people in and out of her house...laid out the grout then the purple glitter.. she said this one little touch made her happier than she has been in months... literally!!! A true life-saver!! 👍👍

Great product
Great product. To help others on putting this on to their grout please follow these instructions below. Please note, the glitter will be everywhere. You should tarp things off and make sure you don't care if glitter gets on you or clothes.1) Don't buy a lot of bags. For a typical 6 foot tub shower with 1/16 or 1/8 grout lines, I used half the bag of glitter if that.2) Don't mix the glitter in the grout as your are mixing the grout for the first time. That will just waste the glitter. Just mix the grout as normal first.3) You have to work kind of quick or do grout in sections. My advice is to do small sections so you can test what you like.4) Apply the grout as normal but make sure you have a small bucket of water and sponge ready. Once you apply the grout with the float in the section, quickly wipe the wet sponge over the grout once so it has that wet mud look5) Sprinkle the glitter on the wet sponge itself and then push the glitter into the soft grout before it dries. Sprinkle as much as you want the glitter to show on the wet sponge6) Make sure you push the glitter on the sponge into the wet grout surface. You can dip the sponge into the bucket of water so it is damp. The bucket of water will have glitter in it, that is fine.7) If you sprinkle about a tablespoon at a time, you shouldn't run out of this whole bag8) The more you sprinkle on the sponge and press into the grout, the more sparkle. If you want less sparkle don't sprinkle so much. Remember that as long as you keep wetting the sponge, the glitter will be in the water and so you may not have to sprinkle so much each time.9) Once you have the desired look, wipe any excess grout off and let dry as many hours/days as the grout says.10) Then apply your desired grout sealant. The glitter should not come off as long as you apply the grout sealant. If you are paranoid you can always use clear epoxy but that stuff is expensive and you need to know how to use it.For me, I put on a lot because I wanted a lot of sparkle. Mine turned out great and I have more glitter to use elsewhere.

Very good product
I learn a trick from pool guy. It work better if you don't mix it. You do the grout same way as always. then clean it before the grout dry spread the glitter over grout then leave it alone until dry work perfect for me

Highly Recommended!
We used the silver holographic glitter with navy blue unsanded grout and deloriean gray sanded grout. It came out fabulous! It's more subtle in the gray than the blue. It's subtle but definitely adds another dimension to the grout. We mixed the glitter with the dry grout first to make sure it was well distributed before adding water.I used some of the premixed glitter grout from Bostik and wasn't impressed. This is so much better!

Get your grout/glitter ratio correct
I should have read the reviews first! It was an expensive project since it took 5 packets for it to show up in the white grout we used for a 3x6 subway backsplash. My suggestion would be use a minimal ratio of grout but enough to get the job done. The grout will eat up the glitter. you are really better off brushing on before grout dries and expect a glitter mess. I used a contractor and he went ahead and mixed up a whole bag of grout before I could butt in and make a suggestion on the ratio used. I love the result but at a high price. If i were to use again i would do the last fill of grout with a small amount of grout With a full bag and then do a brush onto wet grout as well.

Spark-Lees!
I added this to white, non-sanded grout that I used to grout my shower tile. I used about 3/4 of the bag and my shower tile was about 100 sq ft total area. The result is subtle sparkles in the grout that are most noticeable when the shower light is on. Love the results!! I went to a craft store and bought regular craft glitter and tested the grout with both mixed in. I cant say that this glitter is really any different from regular old glitter but it did seem to work better and produce more sparkle in the grout. If you are using it with sanded grout, I don't think it will work as well.

This stuff is gorgeous!
The media could not be loaded. In one 2.5ltr tub, I used 250g of glitter. It looked absolutely beautiful, until after I’d been tiling, got a grout type hand mark on the wall. Wiped it down with a damp sponge and that’s when magic happened. It’s like some of the glitter had been coated in paint and wiping cleaned it off. I’ve today sponged down all the pained walls and it’s amazing in there. Sparkle beyond belief.

Be brave, add more than you think!
Mixed this with concrete grey grout. Wish I'd gone with a darker grout, it showed up nicer in the wet, and dried up as a hint. It's quite scary when you pour it in, and getting the ratio right for your look is a bit tricky I guess. I should have been braver! Also you might need to add more water to your grout than normal, it stopped easy spreading very quickly - first grouting project. Used it in the kitchen and I like the way it catches the extractor down lights. Proper orange copper coloured too, stock photo doesn't do it justice. Used copper tile trim so it complements it well.

Looks good
When my missus said she wanted glitter in the kitchen,, I laughed but then I thought let's do it,, after reading the other reviews I can honestly say it looks good,, like others are saying don't be afraid of using a lot,, I used 1 packet per 1kg of grout,,, and used powdered grout as well,, lot easier to mix.

Good...ish
So this product is okay maybe even good. I feel it is very expensive for what it is. I bought the silver to go in black grout. You need to use a ton of the stuff to get a subtle finish. Once down I couldn't see it in natural daylight but once the lights are on it does sparkle a bit.One negative is that when cleaning or wiping I do notice some glitter particles come off the surface.
