JJC USB Triple Battery Charger Adapter for Ricoh GRIII, Olympus Tough TG-6, TG-5, Olympus LI-90B Battery

Having recently lost another brand of charger, I ordered this JJC battery charger. I have owned other JJC camera accessories before, and they have tended to be good value, and this BLS-5 and BLS-50 charger is no exception. Yes, it does feel cheap to handle, but then at £10.99 it is around a quarter of the price of an OM-Systems version, and that only charges one battery at a time. This JJC charger charges at a reasonable speed (I use a UGREEN fast charger sold separately on Amazon). The JJC charging times are pretty good; both batteries from flat to fully charged in just under 3 hours which is only slightly longer than the advertised times.

I bought this 2years ago and liked the compactness and the LED system. Which way around to put the batteries is not very clear. But the reason it doen't get 5 stars is because it no longer works. I appreciate it wasn't very expensive - unless it is calculated on a per charge basis. I see a number of poor reviews comment on its reliability, so it would seem that build quality is questionable.

I mostly charge my fujifilm batteries in camera with USB cable but will sometimes use the official external mains charger. Unfortunately it is quite bulky and only charges one at a time. This double USB powered charger fits really nicely into my travel bag and can charge two batteries at a time meaning I save on space and time. Would recommend to any fuji user with multiple batteries that is conscious of saving space in their travel bags.

It works like it should, I.e. charges batteries efficiently.

After my first double battery charge with this one side now fails to charge.Also, the cord is extememely short.For the cost I can't be bothered to return it, but you get what you pay for I suppose.

Bought this to charge two Olympus batteries at the same time and for use in the car when on trips. Does the job fine and provides a full charge, which I checked by removing the battery when fully charged and checking it in the official Olympus charger.

I have bought JJC products in the past and always been more than happy, however I am not happy with this battery charger.The charger seems fragile and is clearly made using low quality materials. Given battery chargers don't suffer a lot of abuse this should not cause too many problems, however it is worth mentioning.There is no mini USB, micro USB or USB C input and the only way to connect the lead to a power source is via the (very) short USB cable or to use the additional USB - USB cable supplied. This is very old technology - I should have checked the lack of input before I bought the charger, but given a mini USB, micro USB or USB C input is pretty much standard I didn't think I'd need to.The biggest problem/issue with this charger is the battery slots are on the small side resulting in a very (and I am very!) tight fit for the batteries. I am not sure what the long term effects of this will be on my batteries, and I am not prepared to find out - hence this charger will be skipped.This charger is a big disappointment and one that I cannot recommend.
