This jacket works great. The fit was true to size. It protects my son from hot metal and really is holding up well.

This welding coat/shirt works great. Tough leather where you need it and also has cotton that makes it lighter. The cotton is in places that are away from most of the sparks. Does not smell and has Velcro as well as buttons for faster closer if not using it very long.

I use this when welding underneath my truck. My T-shirt just wasn't doing the job and I kept getting burned with hot steel. This adds a good layer of protection and even has Velcro between the snaps. It has a very slight odor but does not have a very heavy disgusting raw leather odor.

I'm pleased with the jacket but being new at buying welding leather I didn't know about the smell. I took the jacket to my instructor he said that's normal and the smell will dissipate with wearing and time. It's been almost a month and the smell is no longer strong and leaving still.Secondly, I'm a 3X and normally when I order something 3X it fits. I saw someone say these jackets run small so I got a 4X and it won't close at the bottom. I'm not sending it back only because my instructor is helping me with my fitness and I'm losing weight so it'll be too big in time. Just be warned, the jacket runs really small! But it's a good jacket, no regrets.

The thickness is in only the spots that need to be! It's nice to find a welding jacket that isn't stifling and so thick it's hard to move! Breathable and comfortable, yet safe!

Used for welding great fit and easy to move your arms around and work in.

Hubby loves this jacket but there is a lingering smell to this jacket that just annoys me. It is heavy and the stitching is perfect on it. While welding you feel secure knowing the embers won't ignite the threads or the material.

Great product. The quality is great. Definitely order a size larger. Or two sizes larger if you wish to wear a sweater underneath or something for warmth. Ordered a 3x fits like a 2x. No complaints so far. Been using for 2 weeks.

The jacket quality is great, it works great in protecting against welding burn or grinding burns. The only issue I had was I followed the measurements chart. I wish I had of ordered the next size up. It fits and I can use it but it's a little tight around the lats when I go to reach for something or put both arms out in front. Just something to be aware of when ordering. Other than that it's a great jacket!
